Didn't mean to sound negative toward any of our pitchers. I think we are still searching for a #2 pitcher. Trey is as promising of a pitcher as we have had. I think he could step up and do the job. Our defense was shaky and we didn't hit the ball well. I think we only got one hit off the Franklin Co pitcher. A Franklin Co parent said he was pitching in his 1st high school game. We should have hit the ball better.

Tough loss boys. Don't worry about it. We probably shouldn't have been playing today. It was an advantage for the Rebels. A suggestion to Coach Jones: try Trey as your second pitcher. I think he can do the job. Keep your head up boys, we have a lot of games left to play.

You must be #2's mom. He does hustle. Franklin Co will not be as good as last yr. Hopefully, you will improve as the season progresses. I saw one of your scrimmages over the weekend. I am so excited. My voice is so hoarse from all the yelling. What a game! Everyone stepped up. I thought Evan would have a good game again. Micah was as quick as I have ever seen him. His leadership stood out. Great rebounding and good defense. I knew we could force their point guard into a lot of turnovers. Great game. The students were great and Coach Taylor did an excellent job. I am so proud of our boys. I knew we were the better team.

Coach Taylor and the young men have a week to get ready for Franklin Co and the tournament. The answer is an astounding YES that Coffee Co can go to Franklin Co and beat the Rebels. We have done it once and we will do it again. Go Red Raiders!

I don't know how anyone can question Adam's leadership. The young man worked hard to come back from his injury to help the baseball team. Adam was one of the best athletes Coffee Co has ever had. He was a leader on the football and baseball teams. His characteristics are the same ones that I mention about the Sr. girls on the basketball forum. I was very proud that Adam graced the fields of Coffee County.

I just want to say a special thanks to the srs of Coffee Co. You ladies are special. You have went through multiple coaches. adapting to each system and giving it your all. Though, the season hasn't went as you wanted it to, you ended the season on a winning note and now, you have momentum going into the real season that starts next week. You ladies can go to Lawrence Co and bring home a win. Keep focus, play with all you got and play as a team. This class has been a special group and I wish the best to each one of you after high school. I hope you will make this place your home, as you have so much to give to the community. We love each and every one of you. Cassie, you have always been a scorer and now, you are playing your best ball of your career, keep it up. Jenna, you are playing with so much energy and your rebounding is coming along great. Heather, it was so good to see you work hard into developing into a great player, and not just a scoring machine. Finally, to one of my all time favorites, Ms Anderson (I call her Ms Anderson, because she is a wonderful lady) your ball handling and unselfishness has been very special. Though you don't do a lot of scoring, you are a valuable part of the team, and I love your intensity. I sure don't want to forget Rebecca for being the best team manager in Tn. She has been willing to do whatever she is ask to do. Thanks for being a member of the basketball family. Team, go to Lawrence Co with one goal and that is to bring home the win.

I agree with Coach. Zac or Justin should be MVP. My thinking is a Columbia player should be MVP. If not a Columbia player, then Micah Williams. He is by far the best player in District 8.

Congratulations to Emily. She will have a great sr yr and a great 2 yrs at Motlow. She will fit in great at Motlow. We are so proud of her accomplishments on the football and softball fields.
