Goodpasture hasn't been a factor in 4 years. To compare the GP transfers to CPA transfers is a stretch, even if they had to sit out a year. I will say that the offensive line looked better Friday night. When I seen GP getting blown off the line last year against RBS, that told me all I needed to know about the state of the program. Hopefully they continue to improve & start to develop confidence.

It's not a level playing field. But it is the field that we must play at this time. I just get tired of hearing it on here. You have a legitimate complaint but this isn't the TSSAA complaint forum. How many of the complainers have taken the time to repeatedly contact TSSAA? How many have taken the time to organize a campaign that TSSAA a can't ignore? If you really felt strong about it you would call them everyday and have every public Single A fan you know, call them every day. But instead, you come here and complain year after year. How has that worked for you?

Everyone turns on the team that repeatedly wins championships unless of course, it's your team. Take it is a compliment. I don't have a dog in the hunt but I too pull against Farragut, mostly because they are so dominant. It's human nature to pull for an upset.

Surprised it took this long before this started. If it makes you feel better to play the victim then by all means go ahead. Meanwhile you cheapen what is a great team and a great accomplishment by Summertown.

Boyd made a good run at good run at Knox Grace today but came up a little short. Still showed a lot of heart today. Summertown took Peabody's best shot but was able to rally back and get the Victory. Peabody was the underdog throughout the tournament but I think they showed that it wasn't a fluke that they made it to the Boro. Tomorrow's Championship game should be a good one. I will have to stick with my original pick but Summertown has proven that they are certainly a contender. I hope both teams have a game to remember & good luck to each team. Proud of what Goodpature accomplished. There were many times late in the season that I didn't think they would make it to Murfreesboro but they pulled together to make a run. They ran out of gas today & couldn't get it done. Good luck to the remaining teams, especially the teams that haven't been here in a while. For the record, "interesting" isn't really a response. I was just making a prediction. I am not a bookie so my prediction doesn't mean squat. Just trying to generate some descussion.

I assume he is referring to a balk that was reveresed by an umpire. No input from other ump just overturned after the coach had a discussion with the ump. It did take a run off the board & a base runner was picked off a few pitches later.

Well I wasn't there so I can't speak to intent of the runner or the fielder. I would say that the fielder has a right to block the path of the runner if he has the ball. The runner does not have a right to swipe at the glove or the fielder. The runner has a right to attempt to get around the fielder but not go through the runner. At any rate, one would hope that the umpire would only eject the runner if it was CLEARLY malicious. Looking back maybe the umpire could have showed some restraint with an ejection. At the same time, maybe the runner could have showed some restraint in regards to the amount of contact.At the end of the day, if you only score one run then you are not playing your best game.

Would love to get an account of what happened instead of riddles. Hopefully one of you or both of you could provide it.
