I misspoke and used the wrong terminology. It is appealable. They ruled on the appeal at the game. It is not protestable, which is what they are trying to do.

Touching 3rd or not touching 3rd is not appealable because it's a judgement call. The only thing that would be appealable is the dicision to call the runner out and thereby not allowing the run. Is that a correct interpretation of the rule? I believe it is a correct interpretation but I would hate to win that way.

Was a great game tonight that went into double OT. CPA came out firing on all cylinders while GP couldn't get it going in the 1st half. GP did come out well in the 3rd quarter and it was basically a stalemate in the 4th. CPA was able to secure the game with a field goal after GP couldn't convert a fake field goal. The one thing that stood out to me was the sportsmanship during the game. I noticed that even late in the game opposing players were helping each other off the grass after hard fought plays. Congrats to both teams for great seasons and good luck to CPA as they continue their mission.

I think Loretto has a great chance to bring home the prize. They are a legit contender and I think the Riverdale bracket will beat themselves up while exhausting their pitching.

Goodpasture and Gordonsville both won today and will join the other teams at the state. This will be the 6th appearance in a row for Goodpasture. I wouldn't take Gordonsville litely. They have played Goodpasture tough each time and won one of the regular season district games. Looking forward to the state brackets being released.

I understand your excitement about making it to state but to say you whipped USJ is a little much. Also, you are complaining about lack of respect but you only post when you upset USJ. You act as if you have been screaming from the mountain top about how solid DA was. Don't get me wrong, I realize DA went through a long year and didn't have much to post about. At any rate, I was glad to see DA advance and truly wish them luck.
