No my wife is a teacher in Meigs. So we support all the teams.

Meigs does travel really well. Decatur isn't a whole lot different than Hampton. I've had the pleasure of growing up in the mountains and attending a great high school (Hampton). Now I live in a community that is much the same (just a lot flatter). No matter the outcome both teams are gonna give it their all. I'll be heading up tomorrow to visit the family and see some old friends, eat some Pals and have some breakfast at Nancy's or Laurel Fork on Monday morning ðŸ‘ðŸ»ðŸ‘ðŸ».

I was hoping to avoid this replay. But, on the bright side it always good to watch my two favorite teams in my old high school. I hope to see another great game between two great teams. I know Ned will have his team ready. It's always a great atmosphere in the dawg house!!! I'm with the others calling this even.

I'm going with Hampton.....hoping Meigs wins as well. I think we both need to stay home.....lol.....it's tough being a fan of both!!!!

Oakdale really impressed me last night!!!! Those young men gave GCA all they wanted. ODs student section was great. I hope they show up to help Meigs cheers on the Tigers Thursday. Harriman certainly stepped up their game as well gave Meigs a fit. Big props to both teams for two great games!!!!!!

I ran into some Bulldogs last night checking out the games. I usually get up there to watch them a little. I only saw them at Harriman in the tourney before Jones came back. I sure hope Meigs and Hampton stay in their own gyms this year if both make it that far along.

I didn't say that I was simply stating factual information about this average/decent Meigs team. 😜 I think Harriman has some great players. I really enjoy watching the Pace kid. He is a baller through and through. I've learned to never count chickens before they hatch. Kids are kids and come tourney time you just never know what's going to happen. Wins come one at a time.

I could have swore I saw most of the kids on this Meigs team at the Boro' playing an extremely good Mitchell team for the gold ball a couple years ago. Maybe I'm just confused ðŸ˜

Great atmosphere tonight at Roane State!!!!!! What a game!!!!

Easy win for win for the dawgs!!!! We played Sweetwater early on in the season they have a few big boys. But, I think the Bulldogs should have no problem handling them.

Great effort by Hampton!!!!! Congrats to UC. Way to hang in there with the no.1 team in the state.

What a game!!!!!! Great playing on both sides. As I said earlier both are pretty even.Proud to see the Tigers fight til the end. I am a Meigs fan now....but, I still bleed blue from time to time....hard to not remember your roots.

As I've said before Meigs and Hampton are two very similar teams. I know a lot of folks at both schools and have saw both play.As far as ol' Ned not showing much at the SG game I would NOT under estimate him nor would I Perkinson. This season has left me wondering "how in the world" way to many times to pick winner. I am calling a barn burner. I been looking forward to a Meigs/Hampton match up for a while.See y'all at the Dawg House in about 10 hours.

I have saw Hampton play. They are very evenly matched with Meigs. But, business still has to be settled for both Meigs and Hampton before either can play. As stated here already tournament time changes things the stakes are high. Let's just hope those tigers can take care of business. GO TIGERS!!!!!!

After watching both games I'd say Meigs and Hampton are pretty even.

Great game tonight!!!!! Dogs pulled it out in a big way.Was worth the 3 hour trip for this ol' Bulldog. Yes a Meigs fan thats a bulldogs fan too.
