Walker Valley and Cookeville game will be a good one, and will be a rematch from their meeting in the Plateau Invitational earlier this season where Walker Valley won 2-0.

5AAA and 6AAA do not.

Whitwell defeats Marion, 4-1. Both teams will meet again at South Pittsburg Thursday to determine District Champion. Exciting 5-AAA tournament, this year was by far the most competitive that D5AAA has ever been. A lot of exciting games. Good luck to Soddy Daisy and Walker Valley, who are waiting for D6AAA tourney to finish, in the Region 3-AAA Tournament.

D5AAA Tournament Schedule for Tomorrow (at Cleveland High School) 9 AM - #4 Ooltewah vs. #1 East Hamilton (Winners' Bracket Semifinal) 11 AM - #3 Walker Valley vs. #2 Soddy Daisy (Winners' Bracket Semifinal) 1 PM - #7 Cleveland vs. #6 Bradley Central (Losers' Bracket First Round) 3 PM - Loser Bracket Game (Losers' Quarterfinal) The game at 3 PM will be dependent on the participants of the two loser bracket games due to a team having conflicting school activities. Either way, two teams will be eliminated Saturday.

Walker Valley is 10-0 winners over Bradley Central.

In the first round, I see big wins by Soddy and Ooltewah. The Walker Valley game is extremely difficult as they have had more girls ruled out with injuries this week. I think it will be a close game 3-1, with WV out on top. Overall, this is going to be an exciting tournament just like the regular season

East Hamilton wins over Soddy 5-2 to capture #1 seed in District 5-AAA Tourney. Tourney starts tomorrow with games being played at the field of the higher seed, and EH has a bye. After the opening round tomorrow, the tournament moves to Cleveland High School. Games begin at 9 AM on Saturday at Cleveland I believe. So, with Ooltewah and Walker Valley tied for 3rd in District 5-AAA with 8-4 records, Does anybody know what the tie breaker will be since they split their games?
