Until the brothers learn to control their emotions and play with control they will remain at the same level. It is good to play agressive but they take it too far. In both of the last two tournments they were more concerned with the big hit instead of the big play.

who all participates in the summer league in chattanooga???

McCallie played cbhs onthe MUS practice field @ MUS because, cbhs powers that be didn't want to mess up their pristene field. Also, the year before, @MBA both semi games were played on the soccer field behind the stadium because of a track meet in their stadium.

just a rumor, but i heard that potts was going to work with brakebill and a fellow coach like baucom did after baucoms junior year, and then he came out and had a stellear senior year. just a rumor though...

McCallie has soundly beaten MUS and MBA in past years and so have MBA and MUS. i cant recall the last time CBHS was in a close game with any of them except for this year and that will happen on OCCASIONS. They have to CONSISTANTLY start beating the lesser talented teams (i.e. webb, farragut, etc..) by more then 7-8 goals. McCallie, MBA, and MUS all beat those teams but double digits normally and their first team normally doesnt play the whole time. MUS has been known to keep some guys in the whole game but not that often and until CBHS can start soundly beating the lesser opponents in the league and consistantly win games against the big three they are still in the second tier.

about this 'bubba' guy... for all of you attackmen out there all you have to do is step one way and then run fast the other way and you will beat this meat head. protect your stick and run and he will tire and then try to knock you down late in the game. the other two guys are pretty decent but this guy is just a bad football player playing worse lacrosse.

The way that the seeding worked last year is the combination of the scores from the two games... mccallie beat mba by 6 or 7 in the first game and then lost by 1 in the second game.. therefore they had the greater number of goals in the two games... that is somewhat of a good thing and somewhat of a bad thing... its good because its an over all score which is better for judging the overall performace of the two teams. its bad though because if one game got out of hand by either team then it would promote the teams to run the score up which most coaches wouldnt agree with. but its really only the best system to allocate because it judges on the overall performace between two games... any other suggestions about the best way to handle it??

CBHS is by far one of the cheapest teams no matter if they win or lose. they dont have good defenders and all they do is hack and talk sugar that they dont back up. i used to love beating them because they would get so mad because all they could do is talk trash and beat you and then eventually lose.

i was told that brakebill tore his peck, did something not so great to his AC joint and partially seperated his shoulder. hes out for like 2 or more months so they can medically redshirt him..... so it looks like were not going to see much action out of him until summer league

McCallie's attack and core midfield is always good and has been for the past few years.... that shouldnt be a problem.... their defense and goalies are going to be a problem.... MUS has no defense but has the best goalie in the state... they have gibson and sawyer and thats it.... MBA they solid and have caroland and burns... but if burns doenst play they wont win it... its a toss up between the three... no one else has a chance b/c these three teams just have that much more athletic talent and better coaching. Should come down to a close call between the three, we'll have to see how they play throughout the season.
