  1. Guessing starting QB will be Warrington based on rotations. If so, who will fill his spot at LB and where will Fadnek move? Ideas on where Middleton and his brother will play? Maryville was a wake up call let's not make excuses. SD is not near as good so to say we will do better, that's a given.
  2. Funny - I don't have a kid on the team so reps not an issue here! Just telling you what I think and what I've seen. I may be wrong but we'll see. Hopefully I am and they have it all figured out.
  3. We're loaded in some positions with kids rotating in and out. Regardless of who played where and who started in 2013 f there is a better player that kid should be on the field. WR is a prime example of talent that is rotating in and out. Some of these kids have played safety, linebacker, etc.. More clear?
  4. Unfortunately hard to see us beating CC or AC - we lost to SD and 7v7s mean nothing. I bleed OR and want it returned to it's glory days but that won't happen until the best players are on the field (you can read what you want in that). This may ruffle feathers. Sorry it's just an opinion. We'll see when Maryville comes to town. Hope I'm wrong.
  5. From what I saw Warrington also looked good. I don't see a difference in the 2 QBs. 7v7s don't really mean anything. All things change with pads. Scrimmages (Maryville) will tell a lot when the QB has to make quick decisions and scramble. Not sure who will handle the pressure better. Who were the top receivers? Hard to tell without #s.
  6. Malik is extremely fast great if he comes back. By the way bruised lung not a separated shoulder that was on heck of a hit. I was not at the 7 on 7s (out of town for weeks) but heard Warrington was the best this weekend - rumor and overheard conversations not putting anyone down. Any truth to that? If he does come out on top, where will they put Fadnik and who would take Warrington's spot at LB? I don't put much into the 7 on 7s, no rush, running backs, QB taking off, tackling.... so just askin
  7. No problem guys. I knew you were having fun but seemed a little over the top. You just never know who is out there reading these posts.
  8. I think a few weeks back we decided not to talk negative about kids only positives which is great but what you're writing and joking about on here is definitely in bad taste. It's apparent there is no diversity in this group because I would think someone would have been offended by these comments. I know you are having "fun" with what was said but I think it has been taken a little too far. Sorry but I just wanted to get my 2 cents in.
  9. Bottom line someone needs to make a decision, stick with it and let the QB get reps Whoever it may be way to many getting reps last year I don't care who it is we just need someone in there who can make things happen one way or another. It is not going to be an easy year with Maryville first then Farragut Going to be one tough year!
  10. good to know wanted to make sure he wasn't injured
  11. anyone know what is wrong with Bonds? heck of a player but noticed him on sidelines.
  12. I apologize if I offended anyone honestly not my intent. Just trying to understand. I will be more careful in future when asking/posting I love OR and want to have a great season. Come out swinging this year from the gate with Farragut. Again - sorry to upset some on here not letting it happen again.
  13. Yes, Fadnek can throw but what else? He's had pics in practice. TD he scored was not to the original receiver. Warrington - Not sure what happened Not given a fair shot - only had one possession. Dunbar - 100% passing, scored and didn't even run. Back-up last year you count him out. Why? He adds another layer with the run - Warrington does too Truth here - Warrington and Dunbar are athletes and can play anywhere on the field
  14. New here but I've been reading for years. I too was at the scrimmage. Fadnek is a good quarterback, went 60-70% passing. His td was our 2nd receiver in the right place at the right time - ball should have been picked off. First drive held to a FG. Warrington had a great run but went 1 for 3 I think and held to a FG. Dunbar went 100% passing (heard he just got throwing within the past month due to hand surgery), drove for a td but we didn't run the Wildcat? Anyone know why? Not sure what the answer is here but we can't keep settling on FGs - that was the difference in the game tonight. 2 drives held to FGs. Not going to work against Farragut, Anderson Co, Campbell Co, etc. regardless of who the QB is. We need TDs Kicking looks great and Nichols is just an upcoming Jr WOW - did a good job punting. Best running back was the new kid with the others close behind That will be an interesting battle to see play out - all talented kids should be pretty strong at that position. Defense did not look that great. We give up a lot of yards and something needs to be changed or adjusted. any ideas on how to fix Losing Luster #8 last year is a huge loss
