  1. I agree with this one. Don't know about HC. Really need to see how well they do now that daddy's gone. NE is not very well coached but surely they can beat Sycamore a non-powerhouse 3A.
  2. LOL. I hope this is a phony account. I'd hope players wouldn't get caught up in this hoopla. Just practice hard young man and handle it on the field. Let US Adult morons have fun on here. lol
  3. Lawrence County didn't look very impressive against Dickson County in the jamboree. They might've been holding back but DC put 28 points on them. Just my observation. If Shebyville has good Corners then I think they will destroy them. DC had 2 very good corners.
  4. This is just word of mouth. so don't shoot the messenger. Mt Juliet defeated Clarksville 31-10. Hendersonville held NE to one TD. I also heard that MBA boat-raced HC. Kenwood beat Dickson County 26-7. Its hard to tell about scrimmages. Some teams try to win while others are still looking at players. Who's going to be able to contribute.
  5. 1.Centennial 2. HC 3.CHS 4.DC 5.Brentwood 6. Rossview 7. North East 8. West Creek 4 and 5 could go either way. DC dropped from a tough 6A region to 5A. A lot of kids returning. Don't know about Brentwood, ranking them this high is based only on tradition. They could finish last, they've been down as of late. CHS is solid but Centennial and HC are too far ahead right now. I just don't see enough talent on the OL/DL for Rossview returning to put them any higher. As far West Creek and Northeast they could swap positions also. They don't have Northwest for the easy W, Also Arrington and Offert have pretty much been losers everywhere they've been.
  6. I wouldn't necessarily label RV as a good program yet. They had a good team the last couple of years. That was a team loaded with Seniors last year. They won their first playoff game last year. I'd say consistency would have to prove that. Now if Lambert can make the playoffs with this team then I'd say he has arrived. That will take a lot of inexperienced players coming together. It should be interesting.
  7. RV lost pretty much everybody. The development of the line will be key. In the past Lambert has been run first and pass if he has to. It will be interesting to see how the QB is used, he's not Talleyrand.
  8. From what I've seen in 7v7 he looked ok. maybe indecisive due to learning new players. not really sure. The WRs seem small. if they're planning on throwing more this year, this could be a problem. Lambert has always been run first so it will be interesting to see how the QB transfer will be utilized.
  9. You're right. I think the teams that lost were beaten by some very good teams.
  10. Yeah you did beter than I did. I was on the fence on CHS/Goodpasture. I didn't realize they were rebuilding. Shelby seems to have those guys headed in the right direction. Congrats on the big W!
  11. Yeah I know a couple of kids on the MBA squad. The parents felt like MBA didnt' have nearly the success against Siegal like they did with HC. The report I got is, HC has a lot to improve on before we crown them.
  12. Yeah I figured that. I don't know why everyone is giving them the Clarksville title. They lost some good linemen. The line in my opinion is the most important part of the team. I heard thats where Blackman killed them.
  13. 1. Henry County 2. Clarksville Northeast 3. Rossview 4. Kenwood 5. West Creek 6.Clarksville 7. Clarksville Northwest 8. Springfield 2 and 3 could go either way. Also 5 and 6 could go either way.
  14. Rossview will be just like Kenwood and West Creek. They have very good skill guys but the line will keep them from beating the good teams.
  15. That is correct. I don't know how true it is but i heard CHS scored that TD on Gallitan's Varsity/JV. It definitely wasnt the starters. They might be putting the cart before the horse. Don't shoot the messenger.
  16. I second that. They're way off. No way KW beats Independence. Clarksville probably wont beat Goodpasture, Stewart county is much better than they were last year and they clobbered NW last year. So what makes you think a RB will make up that large of a gap? NorthEast/Centennial, NE is a mystery. They lost some key skill guys but the lines are deep. So we shall see, Centennial is a safe bet but not guranteed. WC should beat Todd but their line is suspect returning a lot of skill guys though. Springfield was young last year so they should be better. Great chance of beating Greenbriar this year. Rossview/Hillsborugh. I'm going with RV. HC beats Liberty Tech.
  17. HAHAHA! They really believe that too!
  18. That's a valid arguement but not sure if I buy it. I do keep an open mind however. My point is how does playing a team like that make you better or really test you?
  19. Do you have proof, I'm hearing different. I know TSSAA counts the 8th grade as part of the enrollment if theyre in the same building. That's why some private schools allow 8th graders to play. I've been told this by alumni, it's not made up.
  20. I guess. I think there are some teams that would be competitive. Oakland maybe,I mean if Beech wouldn't play them. Definitely could've done better than a 1and 9.
  21. It's not hard to roll a team that got rolled all last year. 0 wins for Whites Creek last year.
  22. You don't believe that do you? This is SPRING football, not the regular season.
  23. I would be very surprised if HC beats Rossview.
