York played great game. Signal not so much. Can’t beat good teams with that many turnovers and when you can’t get off field on 4th down. Good luck to York next week. Signal played sloppy but never quit.

3 of Signals losses were to top 3 teams in the state in their classification. In back to back to back weeks. Tough stretch for anyone to deal with. York is good, Signal is better than people think. Should be good game. I like Signal 31-14

I know Upperman is good but I haven’t seen them play at all, but I doubt they have seen many backs like Jackson from Loudon. With him fully healthy Loudon will be different team. Heard they got a few lineman back as well. Closer than people think for a while I believe. Both teams well coached I know that. I’m thinking 38-27 with late score to put it away.

How is York’s depth this year? Hearing they are still really solid team but not as much depth as last season?

Red Bank in a closer game than some may think.

Loudon is TOTALLY different team with #25 on field. Loudon by as much as they want if he plays whole game. Jackson is Game Changer.

Signal may get beat by Loudon. But I will say this, WHITWELL is the best and most complete team Signal has played yet his season! And they have played East Hamilton, Tyner, Red Bank, and Whitwell. Whitwell being the best says something. Classifications don’t matter when there is talent on field. 1A vs 3A... well 3A Alcoa beat 6A Maryville...Talent... not by any means comparing Whitwell to Alcoa, or Signal to Maryville, just the most recent classification upset I can think of. Whitwell is a really good football team, so is Tyner and Red Bank.

HGH makes weightroom work really well. When you put an already hard working good athlete on it you get what you see. Sad for what is could be doing to kids bodies long term. Not excuses, facts. Whitwell was better than Signal. If y’all dont want your kids being accused of being on stuff then tell them to stop bragging about it to other athletes about it. Word gets out. Best of luck! Whitwell May mercy rule Signal again. However they have played no one yet. I will say that at least Signal has played good competition. East ham not so much this year but Tyner and Red Bank are top notch teams. Signal has been tested. Whitwell is very good, I’m sure a lot of people on the Mtn will be glad to get past these first 4 games.

Region play starts this week. Thoughts on the game?

Play calling good? EH was good on defense. EH Offense was terrible in that game. Hard to watch. Good luck to them rest of season.

In my opinion 3A vs 6A is always a huge mismatch obviously. Size, speed, depth, etc... Ooltewah has tons of talent but will have hands full in 6A. From the stands it seemed like SM played some reserves a lot vs Ooltewah. I guess not wanting to get anyone hurt? But either way definite clear mismatch. Seemed like Signal played pretty well bs Soddy. Soddy won’t be the same team without #13 on field.

Thoughts about the Eagles in 2018 in Coach Josh Roberts 2nd season? How will they be? Who will be players to watch? Anyone know anything about them so far this year?

That is sad for those kids. There used to be soo much support for Red Bank. That’s embarrassing for top 10 team for home playoff game. That would be embarrassing for that team if it was 3 hour drive. Signal was 4-6 and had 2.5 hr drive and they seemed to have about the same as red bank did with way better team and at home.

York will give Red Bank hard time. Especially if field is wet. Red Bank athletes will have hard time getting going. York better stop #5.

Signal beat 2 way more athletic teams than York. Signal never struggled with athletic teams. Signal struggled with bigger more physical teams because of the amount of new players to the program that have not been in weight room. Just stating facts not excuses. York was bigger, more physical, and more experienced. All of that equals better team

York offense thrives is Sloppy playing conditions. Signals doesn’t. No big deal. Wasn’t accusing anyone. Just saying I was shocked with that big of a crown that field drained terrible. York was better. spread offense struggles more with wet conditions than Wing-t. If That is not common knowledge then I don’t know what is

Tell me what? York was bigger, stronger than us duh. No one ever said Signal was huge. Athletic. #1 for York good athlete and 36 was a load. You still cannot tell me York played more athletic teams in regular season. If you think that your stupid. Best of luck to York. Not it making excuses but it would have been a little more to our favor if the field had drained at all. It either rained 2 inches before he game or the sprinklers we’re left on by “accident” Either way best of luck next week with Red Bank. Y’all have tough kids that play hard. Good team up there!

I said Signal has played more athletic teams all year that York has. From what I have been told by people that know Smith Co, they say we are similar to them skill wise. I have no clue about them. I just know for a fact that signal played a way more athletic regular season than York played.

York has not faced the athletic teams that Signal has all year. Signal wins 37-35 in a good one
