I can tell you one thing I think the coaches and the whole entire football team need to train with coach Rigsby and coach dodgen and learn how to build a winning program.

i had a post about cannon county football right above this one and thought what the heck lol.

i would just like cannon to be competitive at this point. I have pride in this community and would just like to see some fighting spirit from the football program.

Except there are two schools with actual football teams. Cannon has six grammar schools with no football teams. It is just a collection of players playing for what I would assume is a volunteer coach. I don't know that for a fact but would guess that's true. heck the head coach of the high school team is barely out of high school himself.

Yeah all the grammar schools have a school basketball team but no football teams. That's the big difference!

That's true. If the football program actually had half as much support as the basketball program they could at least be competitive. That's all you could expect in a place like woodbury. Im just a huge football fan and would love to see the place I call home be good at the sport I and many other cannon residents love.

Yes but it's just a collection of players from different grammar schools. There is not really a feeder middle school program to the high school. That's why I suggest an actual middle school be built!

Sadly that's true. Don't get me wrong I fully support the basketball programs. I'm related to one of the coaches! However, i see all these fans show up and continue to support a program and kids playing hard, yet nothing. It's not there fault! It all starts with a commitment to winning and if cannon can't do that maybe the football program should be disbanded. Period.

Why can we not even compete against a Christian school? This program is a disgrace and I feel sorry for the kids and parents on the team.
