19-0 Betsy at the half. Missed PAT and then failure to convert on 2 point try.

Don’t know why we aren’t putting more pressure on the QB! 3 lineman and dropping 8 is giving them a huge open field behind the line. Every time we have blitzed it’s worked pretty well. We are giving way to much “cushion” to the wide outs and letting them have big yardage on crossing underneath. We’re lucky to have an INT and to have stopped them twice inside the ten. Our D is doing ok but we need to stop these drives and put this game away!

I look for the bovines to keep it on track and get a win against the eagles thus setting up a second round game on the prairie with the Cyclones. I’ll take the herd in this one 35-14.

Betsy PF 344 PA 118 Carter PF 272 PA 340 Betsy has only played 9 games while Carter has played 11. EHS is only given up an average of 13.1 points per game whereas Carter has allowed 30.9. Betsy has more rushing yards per game than Carter but Carter has more passing yards per game. I think this is where the difference will show. I think the Cyclones use the ground and pound attack that opens up the passing game. I’ll take the Cyclones in this one. 44-14

IF the Dawgs stay focused and play the entire game the way they played the second half against South, the Bulldogs win and advance. Gotta believe and buy in or you’re bouncing that ball and not passing it.

Batman, I’ve watched a lot of 4A teams this year. Seen more of what teams are like in the west. I even used an “unapproved website” to project match ups to get an idea of what might happen. I even listed previous championship years for the Devils against the Devils. Not surprisingly the scores and outcomes were very much the same. IMO, I think this team is better all around and is a more “complete” team than before. Unless something off the wall happens, I think the Devils make it to Chattanooga and gain another championship.

Well it’s just a few days away and I’m getting more excited with each passing day. I hope the Cyclones come out firing and play aggressively from the start. I would really like to see how well they have improved since the loss to the Greene Devils. History states we fall short of a rematch. I’m hoping not the case this year. Will we win out and play the Greene Machine again? I hope so. Really enjoy two quality programs leaving it all on the field for school and community pride. BC16 the Hampton game won’t happen. They have games scheduled until the end of season. No chance in them playing next week.
