Well, Rossview travels to Christian county for week 2. Christian County is ranked 11 in the state. After the loss to CHS last week, will Rossview rebound? What do you think?

Talked to the Shield today. It want's to stay at Rossview. I told it " don't worry, you'll stay here for a long time". ( I took a nice picture for my profile)

By disrespected that was mainly directed at the Clarksville paper. It's not just in football either. But that's ok. They have some competition now that's doing a much better job. Thanks for the props buddy!

Hey Pilgrim, My disrespect comment was geared towards the paper. And it happens in all Rossview sports. But thats OK. They have a lot of competition online now that does a much better job reporting local sports.

Rossview has always been disrespected in Clarksville, especially by the local paper ( Leaf Chronicle) and its " Sports Reporter". Looks like the roles have reversed this year, except of course, by the " Laugh Chronicles" perspective. I've watched CHS in 7 on 7's and scrimmages as well as the TOC Jamboree. They are much better than they are given credit. True, Rossview is deeper, has more talent and experience, but in games like this, anything could happen. Looking for a great game Friday night, not a blowout like last year.

Yep. I heard CHS did some "hitting" at the MJ scrimmage.

Interesting analysis Pilgrim. We'll see how they do in this tough region. As far as that first game, It's going to be more interesting than everyone ( except you) predict. First of all, it's a huge rivalry. You can throw out the "perceived talent" factor to some extent. Second, it's the first game so nobody knows really what anyone has until they actually play. I expect a good game to watch. Rossview should not come in expecting to win. Overconfidence will get you beat. I did watch CHS at McCraken 7 on 7. I thought they looked pretty good from a passing game perspective. Some defensive holes, but much better that I expected based on the "talk".

So Rossview (Clarksville) is moving to 6A in Region 4. Looks like a challenging region. How do you think they will do?

Pilgrim, I'll have to agree with you 110%. This prediction is random, bias and unsubstantiated.

Rossview has most of it's starters coming back. The total senior class last year was 6 or 7.

Wouldn't surprise me at all! You guys are good year in and year out. We're really young. We've had a lot of injuries to key players. That's the biggest thing that concerns me Fri night. Plus we've got a long bus ride ( never good). I think we can stay with them if we play to our ability. Watched them and they look pretty solid. Good Luck to you guys!

Hi Senator! Talked to you a couple of years ago when we ( Rossview) played you guys. I don't know much about MC, what's the scoop?

You're right about comparing common opponents. Rossview beat Brentwood so Rossview should have beaten HC, right? ( That didn't work out too well). I have watched Centennial and they are a fraction of the team they were last year in terms of talent on defense and O line. Their QB was scrambling all night and they had lot's of problems stopping the run. HC will have no problem in this game.

I've watched HC and Centennial this year play Rossview. HC dominated Rossview. ( I will say Rossview had a terrible night, but no excuses). Centennial is not as good as their record. I saw them play Northeast and was not impressed. Rossview led Centennial ( at Centennial) most of the game and lost it on turnovers. I know what their record says, but I think they're on borrowed time. HC wins by 14, easily.

Well, that was interesting.
