Unless the dawgs fumble 21 times or maybe even 22 times The dawgs win this game and win it big. Bolivar is much is improved from last year but they are no where near ready for the dawgs in Milan. Bolivar may be a player in 3a in the years to come but this is not the year. They have a lot of talent but it will take some time for the coach to get em ready to compete at this level. Throw the record books out the windows boys I really think this will be a great game. Milan should win the game... Since the rivalry started Milan always should have won... If my memory serves me correct SGC and Milan have played 5 times in during the regular season. 2 games were blowout wins by Milan, 2 games were nail bitters won by milan. 1 game was a nail bitter won by SGC. I have a ton of respect for Morris and the tradition that the dawgs have. We all get caught up in a rivalry. Regardless of the schedule and what impact it has on either teams playoff chances BOTH teams will show up to play, and BOTH teams will leave it all on the field. SGC does have enough to make this a game. Do we need a little help? Yes. A few turnovers and few big plays SGC stands a fair chance. Also, you do not want play Milan late in the season. For whatever reason Milan always starts slow and gets better towards playoff time so.... that hurts SGC's chances. Lastly this rivalry is great for both Medina and Milan. Milan has not a real rival since Humboldt. It brings out a ton of people and a ton of press coverage. The QB situation is still up in the air as far as I know. Duncan is very important to this football team on both sides of the ball. As far as the game goes I watched some of the Liberty DBurg game and Liberty looks nasty on defense. SGC will defiantly have their hands full with this one. I tip my hat to Liberty for so much success this season because they lost 20 plus senior last year and got a new coach. Coach Turner has worked magic with this crew. Like always SGC will play hard and you never know what can happen under the friday night lights. The Westview games was a lot closer than the score indicated. Thanks P4ever. I cant comment about shields because I dont know anything he puts in the sun because I simply dont read it. However I did read the article that was put in the paper about dunc he did a great job.

Not sure about Shield at the sun.... But SGC is glad to have the coverage. Duncan is a world class young man and comes from an outstanding family. That young man has earned every bit of coverage or " merits " that he has got.... So what an article was put in the paper about an SGC athlete . Whats the big deal? Its funny how when you can hide behind the internet with a fake name people grow some form of courage and talk trash about someone. I cant say that Shields from the sun is a SGC homer or not. I don't read the sun... I can say that Duncan is an awesome young man and a great leader to some of the younger kids in this program. I tip my hat to him. Now as for the game. After covering tonight's game I walked away with a new respect for Trinity. They played outstanding!!! Great Job Tonight by the lions they should be proud of the effort that they put on the field. I know that's its disappointing to walk without a win but they played really really hard and any trinity fan should be proud. The offensive line makes a good tailback look Amazing. Not sure what the official stats are but i know he ran for over 250 plus yards. You cant do that without outstanding play from your O line. For the hornets WOOW. Trinity is the best we have played this year. Great job tonight finding a way to win the game. Down 27-13 in the middle of the 3rd and score 3 unanswered TD's..... Figuring out a way to stop the lions on a late drive to win the game. What a game proud of the hornets!!! TCAintense You should be proud of your lions. im a sgc guys but no doubt about it. Liberty is THE team to beat in this region. I hope the dawgs can pull it off but I will have to go with Liberty by double digit points. not to mention the dawgs dont start playing football till about halfway thru the season......

JCM always has talent...... not really sure whats going on. They are a proud program with a very rich tradition. SGC wins 35-13

To the Trinity folks I must confess I was just wrong about the team. Last week the lions played my hornets and I had an eye opening experience. TCA is a much better team than I thought. You guys have the best high school QB I have ever seen and he didn't even have a "great" performance to his standards. I would look for the lions to go deep into the playoffs and be favored to win it all. All the best wishes to you guys for the rest of the season. Trinity beats scotts hill by 28. It will be close at half but trinity pulls away in the 3rd and 4th.

I honestly think this is going to be a close game. It will be decided within a score. You cant take anything away from the lions but they have not played any where near the competion that the hornets have played. The hornets defense has really played well.
