  1. Catholic 45 - 31 Powell 24 - 20 OR 49 - 21 Clinton 34 - 28 Gibbs 31 - 21
  2. I also beleive gibbs will pull this one out for two reasons. Gibbs has been very successful at taking away the passing game this year (Other than AC who just had their way with us however they wanted) and Gibbs will win at the line of scrimmage with the HOGS. Gibbs has had a rough first half playing some good talent and the remaining schedule does not have the defensive lineman, like they have faced in teams like AC, Clinton and Oak Ridge. Gibbs by 10
  3. I will take a look at the game when it pushed out because don't beleive it was "home cooking" at all. There was a lot of extra activity after the play, on multiple plays and the refs called it. Oak ridge is a very good and deep team but they got off their game and some what panicked for a few quarters. They come out of the half and slowly composed themselves and went back to their game and took charge from there. Gibbs tested them and they got caught off guard but as a good team does, they won!
  4. Thanks SS! the best of luck too you. Didn't get the win but i did get to talk to darel and the family so it wasn't a total loss. Win out guys we are going to need some help climbing out of this hole we dug. Lol
  5. Thanks for the clarification on the hudl. Since I haven't saw him play this year, I went there to see what he was looking like. And yes she is! Lol Have a good one.
  6. Denise is a fun one to be around during football. She is the only woman I know that can make a 6'6" young man turn into a 5' 2" kid with a look. Lol
  7. I would never put darel down but I would never sugar coat anything with him either. He and butterball both have a gift but darel has the size!
  8. Beleive it or not I agree 100% and I know the only thing that is stopping that level of play is himself. If it clicks, no one will be able to stop him.
  9. I'm not taking hits on any players. In fact I asked for stats to be posted since I haven't seen him play this year. If you feel I said something incorrect, point it out, prove me wrong or ask me to delete it and I will be happy to.
  10. No I don't or I would be coaching D1 but instead I'm an arm chair coach like the rest on here. Just stating my opinion. Sorry it rubs some the wrong way.
  11. I'm watching his hudl highlights now and to be honest I don't see the player he should be. He is a D1 prospect that does not fire off the ball or dominate the line every play as his size would suggest. I watched him from flag football to now and I don't see much change other than size. He is a big kid that has never been coached to play the way he should be. He's a good blocker and a big body to pass to but unless he's bad at picking his highlights I must be missing something. Are his defensive stats posted anywhere?
  12. I'm sure he's watched film. I'm guessing you beleive they should forfeit? If so you haven't watched gibbs play or how they will line up and scrap in the trenches. lets just hope OR comes out thinking this is a gimme game like you do. Lmao at goober.
  13. Not sure if I came off confident since I only gave Gibbs a 3 point win and stated the game could go either way. Also what are middleton's stats? I haven't seen much in the area of stats from him. Maybe you can help me out with them. I haven't talked to him in about a year but what I have seen he still hasn't played to his potential.
  14. AC 49-7 Gibbs 27-24 Clinton 24-14 CC 49-7 Fulton 56-14
  15. OR is one of the best teams in this district (AC is the Top team) but I beleive Gibbs can play with OR and I beleive this one could possibly go either way. It comes down to mistakes and being balanced on offense. If Gibbs can keep the safeties out of the box by going over the top a couple of times, we can keep them guessing all night while keeping the OR offense off of the field. My prediction; 27-24 Gibbs
  16. You were almost dead on. Gibbs had a few 80 yard runs called back including a TD and botched a blocked field goal by touching it after they blocked it. It gave halls the ball on the 3. Hall had one good play and it was a very nice pass down the sideline that went the distance. It was a better game on paper than it really was but to halls credit, they are a better team than last year and will upset someone by the end of the season.
  17. 28-12 Gibbs (final) Gibbs played a sloppy 1st half but came out in the second half and took charge. Holding Halls scoreless.
  18. Let's not forget how many schools have been caught vandalizing their own school in an attempt to make another school look bad. Wasn't this just done at Seymour and it turned out to be their own students and alumni? I even remember a coach doing it to fire his team up.
  19. Gibbs will win this one with a more balanced attack then they have shown so far, while keeping true to the Triple Option. Gibbs has not thrown much but when they do, it is effective. I still look for a 150+ yard rusher in this game. Brendan Wilson (SB) will be just to much for Halls. The defense can and will get after the Halls backfield with a improved line, lead by the Memphis recruit (defensive end) Hunter Lane and Defensive POW nominee Dalton Rodgers. The Halls / Gibbs rivalry goes way back. Halls through the years have dominated the series. Look for Gibbs to be hungry, to be the only team in Gibbs history to beat Halls Back to back while doing it in definitive fashion.
