I agree, but this can be said for any coach starting out in a new program. I hope they go all the way this year. Good Luck MC.

Monterey will be tough. They got a good running game, but dont know that much about them. I know we got a team that believes in themselves and each other. They have proven that they wont quit. I am all for that.

Coaches make decisions, good and bad, and we as fans get to sit back and critique their decisions. It is so easy to criticize somebody for making a bad call and talk about what they shouldve done. Hindsight is 20/20. I do it too. Its hard not to be critical when you care so much about the kids, the game, and the school. People can have their opinions about our program. Its up, or its down, or whatever you may say, but the fact is these kids gave it all they had and I am proud of them and these coaches. Good work guys!

Not really trying to say that we would have won, but we would have played better than 41-0. Geeesh it would have been a closer ballgame if not for some injuries.

When we played Boyd, we had our best LB out with shoulder injury. He is also one of the three top RBs. Lost starting center in first quarter. We were driving the ball down their throat before turning it over. We got the ball right back but lost all momentum.

Aint no finding out to it. We grew up playing you. You were always a tough team, but we beat you through the years, especially in the 80s. Maybe you will find out something, we dont lay down if you want it you have to play the game.

Man you are on every thread with you east is down message. Greenback will be tough on Coalfield. I think GB wins this one mainly due to home field advantage.

I think that it is sad to hear you talk about your team like that. I thought you guys were a good team. You came out of the gate strong. Its kind of depressing to hear you talk so down. You might need some antidepressants. Maybe a cup of coffee. That was a great game by two teams who gave it their all. No they are not the 1991 New York Giants or the 2000 Tennessee Vols but they played the game and I enjoyed it, especially the score wit 50 seconds left. Go Big Red. WOOOOO!

Its easy to hold up a win an walk off field, but its humbling to accept a loss and take it with grace. The South Pittsburg team that took the field was a tough team. They were fast and athletic. I guess you dont get it that we love our boys, because they are "our" boys, win or lose, we love them. This aint the pros. This aint college. These are Copper Basin boys, who grew up here, played ball since they were small. We may not win every game obviously but we love them. If you had won, it would have sucked. I would have said good game and good luck, hoping maybe you go to the state and win. You guys just want to take your ball and go home. Oh yeah Go Big Red!!! WOOOOO!

I am a fan of ball control offense and smashmouth football. I appreciate the fact that some people like fancy offense that just sparkle in the stat books, but heart, pride, and toughness mean something. If anybody thinks thats gross, well maybe you should take up ballet or opera.

Well one bad team anyways. We have played some tough ballgames and you dont know anything about our kids. You say what you will about your kids, but I am proud of these boys and yours as well. They all played tough with a lot of pride. You got a lot of good athletes.
