  1. Storm blowing through late Wednesday night and into early Thursday doesn't help dry the field out. Who must play well for each team?
  2. The games I have seen, the Forrest bunch has struggled with coverage on kicks. I would have to imagine they put a high emphasis on implementing something this week where that doesn't hurt them.
  3. Marion's skill kids are good. Can make plays. This is one of the best 2nd round games in state. Goes along side Indy and Hendersonville matchup.
  4. Possessions as I've said are key. 5-6 minute drives for Forrest are key even if it results in punting.I think the key is who can get off the field on the most 3rd downs. Game with 20-24 points would favor Forrest.
  5. Was in Marshall County today... Heard from someone in one of the local businesses say they try the new sprinklers out Thursday night... Also heard they hadn't cut the game field in 3 weeks.
  6. Should be a good one. Sounds like Marion took a while to get going. Forrest is deeper and more athletic than Westy. Possessions will be the key. Marion wants a lot. Forrest not so much. Two good teams no doubt.
  7. I will talk about who I wish as Phil Knight did in his Eulogy. You are free to do the same. I respect freedom of speech.
  8. Games have a tendency to tighten up as the playoffs deepen. Not going to pick a winner here, as I never have, but it'll be fairly close and a lot will depend on possessions, turnovers and the kicking game. A legend who once roamed the sidelines in State College, PA. said that an awful lot. And, he won a few games lol
  9. Congrats to the Sweeney kid just named finalist AA
  10. If you prefer the interstate, 24 to 840 West to Exit 42... 15 miles down to Chapel Hill... Ice Cream Parlor is excellent though, also the Bell Buckle Cafe.
  11. Sounds like Boyd is untouchable. Give BA and Ensworth a call.
  12. Lebanon Democrat covers Watertown. May check that paper online.
  13. LOL exactly Ram that's funny... Who r these guys? If you don't score 35+ you've struggled... Get real
  14. With all this talk on how impressive Tyner is, I am looking for them to go toe to toe with Boyd in round 2.
  15. How's the kid at Marion that got hurt against Boyd? Heard he was a solid kid all around.
  16. Should be one of your better round one games in any classification. Tyner very athletic. Watertown can get you on ground and in air. I think it comes down to a possession late in the game to decide this one.
  17. Most interesting matchup is Tyner at Watertown. I would think its a touchdown either way. Watertown handled Westy a lot better than I thought. I think Boyd, Marion and Forrest all win. The game at Watertown could go either way, like I said.
  18. i think 21 points wins the Eagleville Community game... Still wouldn't be shocked if Community wins. Wouldn't be shocked if Westy wins either. I would pick Eagleville and Watertown if betting but both games close to call. A lot of great games this Friday. Very interesting games across the board in all classes.
  19. Eagleville strength their defense? And they gave up 5 TDs to Westmoreland and Watertown and then gave up 7 to Forrest. LOL
  20. Boyd vs Tyner in 2nd round could be very interesting if it turns out that way. I also feel as if Community has a shot to take out Eagleville tomorrow for the 4 spot.
  21. Here ya go folks. This should help over the next few weeks. I will add this to start things off: Don't be shocked if Westmoreland knocks off Watertown. They've got a lot of Seniors that have played in some big games.
  22. Thanks PP68 for the insight... I will start that thread.
  23. I've been reading through these posts. Here's a question for a Region 3 fans: If Tyner is as good as everybody says, then I am under the assumption they could go to Boyd in round 2 and win. Correc? Or , am I off base?
