it wouldn't take many, he already is playing a few of the freshman and some sophomores, more than you would expect on a #3 ranked team in 2A. Zeman is the best player but there is a lot of players carrying the ball this year, much more versus the last few years. If pirates focus on zeman, they will be in trouble IMO. Sequatchie put all there focus on him, #12 and #21 had big huge nights. Same thing with Copper Basin.

yes they are, many times going to work i stop by while they were out there at daylight, running and going through his training program. What was bad was they were in good shape last year under McCurry, these kids got a whole other level of conditioning when they started Ross's program. It has been paying off because they have physically wore down everyone but a 4A Central with kids that most don't play both ways. I believe that is why we have had very few injuries this year too. Kids aren't wore out half way thru the game.

Really looking forward to this game. I still say S. Pitt keeps it close up thru the second quarter then Marion pulls away. Marion has done that almost every game.

The Marion vs Seq. wasn't that close. It was 35-0 at beginning of fourth and b team was in and they finally scored in the last two minutes. The way the game was going it could of been much much worse.

I am too. Chatt Christian was the first team to move the ball with any consistency all year against Marion and that only lasted their first three possessions. Be surprised if pirates are able to create many points. Pirates gotta play great on D to keep them in it.

Would love to see that Boyd stayed in the area during the playoffs but I believe they are going to be sent to Quad 1 like Silverdale last year and the year before. Hope I am wrong...

Watching South Pitt a few games this year they have seemed to improve somewhat from the Bell Ky game to Boyd, but Marion has improved vastly since the first game especially on the offensive side of the ball. I expect the Pirates to keep it interesting the first half but Marion to pour it on as I expect them to wear them down as they have done to almost all teams this season. The games I have seen Marion play, once they start scoring they do it in bunches and very quick like fashion. That is exactly what the Pirates have done when they have there teams rolling as years past. I just don't see that with this years Pirates. Marion rolls, 41-6.
