South side, its their senior night, kids are trying to do whatever is necessary to win 1st in the district.

Westview played south side in a very close game in the beggining of the year. I believe westview would have one if they wouldn't have fouled mcneal 100 times, he had 30 something but 20 of those we FTs

My prediction for AA substate is South side vs. A Memphis team at South side and lexingtong vs. Haywood at Haywood. South side and Lexington advance. Just watch! I know I have people that disagree with this but Lexington is a great team and the south side is experienced, but this year in AA is tough

So is he a true pg or a scoring pg?

He is a scoring pg, shoot first pg, however you want to put it. He is like a kyrie type player. Great ball handling skills with the ability to score anywhere but can dish when not looking for his shot. That is not a TRUE pg! He is a scorer... He avg. Almost 40 points a game, how many true pg's are averaging that many points?

Culbreath isn't a true pg and at his size, colleges don't want that but Chad, to me, is the BEST scorer in the STATE

Jackson south side if they pop Lexington next time around but Lexington is one game ahead.

Fayette ware has a chance to be a special team, almost beat south side tonight and they did a great job containing McNeal despite him having almost a quadruple double w/ 12 pts,12 ast,8 stls, and 7reb. Fayette ware has a big 3 similar to southsides big 3 last year....Scary

Malik Hicks was #10, I noted him by his self because he transferred and all that but they still had him on the list.

@ THAREALTRUTH if creekwood was in west TN... They would get exposed. AA teams are weaker in other parts of the state besides CPA.

Lexington is a good team but I don't see them beating south side again. Chris McNeal did his job with 34 points but his teammates left him hanging. South side will get it together but lexington is a good team with great length. Nick marshall is all hype, not what I predicted.

Oh and with the Hicks situation, basically it wasn't a "BONAFIDE" move, his parents didn't move or anything so tssaa is trying to say that he could have stayed at south side to start with. Hicks grades were dropping even more than they were at south side and now he is back in Jackson with the same situation, juco basketball. He thought he would be able to move and that would help his NCAA elgiblitliy but either way it goes he would still have to go to juco. Great lesson their, book work comes first!!

I hope South Side doesn't read message boards or twitter post, especially McNeal cause everyone seems to think that south side won't have a chance since hicks can't play but even without him they are still a contending team. They beat a great Union City team already, they beat Martin westview, who is ranked in AA, they beat they #1 team in AA this summer by double digits with hicks not playing. Tomorrow's game vs. Lexington will tell it all.

South Side plays Lexington tomorrow. Should be a good game if south side plays their uotempo style.

Its hard to say that about south side when you have the best guard in the state in Chris McNeal to lead them. How many pg around getting triple doubles? Last game he had 27 pts 13 ast and 10 reb against Bolivar. And Bolivar played there best ball that I've seen all year against them.

Union City got killed last game. Stockdale didn't impress me!!!

Anybody from UC going division one besides maybe Deberry?? Mitchell's Jeremiah Martin just committed to LATech, CUSA, same conference as Jackson South Side lead guard McNeal.

Coach Faragi Phillips is the best coach in TN hands down!!!!!! He turned Mitchell into a powerhouse.... Nobody in single A can touch Memphis Mitchell.
