True story. The concession stand at Peabody didn’t open till a few mins before the game last year. Of course I was first in line. I offered the lady at the window a $100 bill to let me come in for 30 mins. She looked at me like I was crazy.

I wish I could say this wasn’t true

I can only imagine the gloating I will read later. I think I'm going to try to go watch a game tonight but I'll be keeping my eyes on this one as well through you loyal folks.

Not so much in reality there is a lot of respect both ways and this thread will definitely die off after the fact ! We are a a small county and most of us know each other at least some what , I think there might be a bit of trash talk if Milan wins but Trenton has had a lot of success lately and don’t really get a kick out of rubbing  salt in wounds, that being said thanks for stopping by all visitors  get a lap dance from Big Pirple Pansie your choice of butt naked  or scantily clad in a 7xxl thong !!!

I don't have a dog in the fight but I've read all 24 pages of this thread and almost wish I did. I have loved the back and forth! I do a little spoof of Leonard's Losers for those old enough to remember his radio show. I normally post it in the 4A section but thought some may get a kick out of it since I chose this game as one of my five for Thursday night.

Peabody Golden Tide at Milan Bulldogs

    The Gibson County Grapple

Quite possibly the toughest game to call but it should be an absolute slobber knocker when the Plum Puppies welcome the Yella Wave into the kennel. It’s been 5 years of frustration for the West Tennessee Canines but this team is dog gone fast! Meanwhile, the Trenton Teapots have something brewing with the strength in the fellas up front. The Tide should be floodin’ by the fourth and the dawgs won’t be able to keep their heads above water.

Percy’s Pushover in a close one: Milan

Good luck to both sides! Hope it's fun, thrilling, and injury free!

    Hilarious , love it

  4. Tide Nation! Today is the day we ROLL TIDE into Dawg country, be confident be humble and for God sake knocks some Dawgs teeth down their little puppy throats ! Hit these boys in the mouth for four quarters, bully these boys the way your brothers before you have for 5 years ! Make no mistakes this is gonna be a battle , but, every year you all hear the Dawgs are faster the Dawgs are bigger and every year you walk those exact same Dawgs around the park !!!!  Strap up and crack some helmet boys it time for Tide Football !

So Monday night the Milan 5th/6th grade team pounded Peebody to the tune of 72-0. Last night the 7th/8th graders continued with the leg sweeping to the tune of 44-8. Tomorrow night it is the high school’s turn to get a dose.  Milan coming for ya tide. Strap em up tight girlies!!!!

You sound like the guys you hate”stank fans” always talking about middle school lol, yeah we definitely got whooped though !

Peabody had two kickers last year. One for kickoffs, punts and long field-goals, the other for extra points and short field goals. They both were solid and  both are  gone. People forget that Peabody won games with field position and special teams play over the last few years. When they lost(especially against McKenzie) it could be argued that it was due to some questionable punt fakes (using Driggers) and gimmick onside kicks that gave McKenzie great field position.

Driggers is supposed to punt, but I doubt he will now. Too much risk. The kid punting now is a running back and we'll see how that works out tomorrow night. Hopefully Peabody will not need to punt and will score a lot of TD's....
