I'd just love to see the Jets hit their lay ups and 5 footers to start. And I don't get why the kids don't take the open shots. They just keep passing up open 3s that I know they can hit.

I agree, Sparta is the favorite. It is their tournament to lose. Coach Foster does always have CCHS playing well for the tournament, but this game with Rhea County worries me a little. We just match up poorly with them with their post play. I still think we win though. You almost called the Stone/WC game. Went to OT. Warren outplayed them the whole game but somehow Stone comes out with the win with Stone's big guys on the bench until the end. I wonder if they are hurt?

I thought the same thing. They must really pick it up against us. Stone played well until our perimeter pressure was too much for them late.

You are right, our region has been pretty solid out of Chattanooga. I think Stone was the only team to advance last year, and they were loaded. It seems like at least one year nobody from our district advanced.

I agree. Clark was unreal. Coach has them going but that seems to be a trend. They finish strong, always getting better. He has, what, 2 district titles already as HC?

It was nice to see the boys get a W over the cross town rival! We seem to be healthy, eligible, and improving at the right time.

Did they talk to all the other coaches from the other teams, because that is what it would have taken. The rules were set prior to the season by all the coaches. SMHS agreeing to allow an illegal player wouldn't have made it ok with everyone. I'm not sure that changing the rules because we don't like our circumstance is a good argument anyway. Starting a sick or injured kid just to have five is plain silly for a freshmen tournament.

He is good. It would almost be fun watching him if they weren't playing us! We've got to get Smith healthy, hopefully before the tournament. I still believe we can make a run.
