Man we heard blow out and can’t play with us talk all week. I’m just trying to get those cats to come back and own it. But I’m certain those folks that talked all the “own you 2018 @$$ whooping and you’re gonna like this one to” aren’t lining up to own or like theirs. My comment wasn’t aimed at you specifically.

I was just answering a question.

Everyone was certain he was 100% before the game. Didn’t see any signs of a limp or hitch when he scrambled. Maybe he was just waiting for all those wide open lanes they talked about all week to open up :roflol:

The only person I saw say that he 100% was Romans. I did not say that.  He most definitely was not.

  3. Congratulations to the Indians! Nice win. Myers didn’t seem 100% to me. I’m sad he has to end his high school career without being able to do what he’s capable of. It was a great season for the Rebels and they have nothing to hang their heads about. Good luck to Oneida moving forward. It’s time for me to move on the orange ball threads. I have to see what we can do there. Eat it up Indians. You earned it!

I think he just as good as Luke, just younger.  He has the potential to possibly be better and that’s no knock against Luke. Either way against Oneida’s D the Oline is going to have to protect and that’s a challenge.

I have been surprised that it took this long to see him get the start. He doesn’t quit. No doubts about that.

What I really like and see in this team is that they have multiple playmakers. I’m really impressed from the little I seen on the new back. That kid is elusive and a huge addition to compliment Myers and the receiving group.

Known him since he was in the 1st grade. Great kid and great athlete. I was so excited to hear he was starting

  6. This the best team South Greene has ever had. EVER! I don’t know that it’s enough to put a dent in Meigs, but I think we will handle Friday just fine. Chain gang or not. I would normally say, but you never know about kids, but this bunch is different. They are consistent. I can’t imagine a different team showing up Friday.

Ankle’s in good shape:thumb:  You take what the defense gives and with 4 & 5 skills guys that can catch and run use it when it’s there.  It’s kinda been a running back by committee.  There’s was one kid started emerging and had his shoulder banged up in the last game of the season; he was solid and tough, but wasn’t a speedster.  This new kid is a speedster, nimble and runs down hill and i believe is going to be special.  They can run & throw but you take and do what’s going to get the dub.  Oneida will be a great test.

I’m excited to see what he will do the next couple of years. He DOES NOT QUIT! He is very special indeed. I was pretty sure the QB was ready to go,  it figured they were holding him till they needed him.

I hate to hear bout the injury. I hate to see a kid miss out on football for any reason at all. I’m sure the backup will step up and do just fine. I believe as far as injuries for us we are fairly healthy. The ones that won’t play haven’t played in a long time so we are used to them being out.

The backup is super impressive. He’s my son’s best friend. I’ve known him since the first grade. He was the quarter back during his middle school career when they went 10-0 his 8th grade year. He’s good. I just meant that he had to jump into the swing of things real quick.

It’s all in good fun Rebel trust me. I have nothing against any of the kids coaches fans School anything. It just so happened that it happened against Oneida and that’s who I root for. If I decide to make the trip I would enjoy meetin and chattin with you. Ole @pujo will yell ya I’m a likable guy.

I don’t doubt that and I would meet you. I’m not sure if I’ll be there myself. You would probably be surprised when you met me. I’m not your typical poster.

I hope you are correct. If we play like we did against Monterey. I like our chances but other than that I really ain’t sure.

Hey @Romansfive8 I’ve watched a little bit of y’all this weekend. Do y’all ever go run heavy? It looks to me y’all lean on the QBs arm to get ya where ya need to be.

The QB is a duel threat. He can run as heavy as you want. He hurt his ankle in the Hampton game and has been held back since then. I have no idea when or if he will be turned loose. The running back was injured in the last game and will be out for the season. The kid who played last game is amazing, but only a sophomore with few minutes, so I’m sure his play will only improve with the season.
