If Crabtree was rejected, I wonder how many other more qualified coaches applied and was passed up on. I am also curious if this hire was more so because of a possible history of the new coache's father and Loudon or because they truly think he is a good hire.

I have heard rumor that one of the applicants was Coach Crabtree from Beech High School. Can anyone verify this?

Yes every game can be determined by containing the playmakers. But you get my point I hope. Ha

I disagree with it being the same result. Games like Howards, ER, and Greenback are games that could be determined by scheming the other team and containing the play makers. It could be the difference in a potential 8-2 season and a 5-5 season. But no game is ever a give me.

I am new at posting, so please forgive me if I am grammatically coach t forum incorrect. However, I have a feeling if the list of coaches that applied for the job was to be released there would be an uproar. I don't know anything but what the article says about the new coach coming in, but I was told by a coworker that there were some applicants that were by far more qualified to take over the program. Is there any way to obtain the list of applicants or is that information hidden? I do hope the best for the Redskin program but have a feeling this was not a hire based on qualifications.
