Not all of you. Just the few that was making reservations for cookville way to early. Lots of the adamsville folks are realistic and know football so I do not want to group everyone in that statement

yes if I remember correctly adamsville was going to face Waverly in the 3rd round before trezvant. Polls and opinions are worth nothing. Strap it up and play the game boys.

looks like another show down between Adamsville and Trezvant to represent the west.

We can all get on here and flap our jaws about our teams. But days like this remind me of all of the real sacrifice that has been given for our freedom. That is work and a struggle that far proceeds football. But I want to thank every veteran that was willing to put their life on the line so that I may have the freedom to play around on Coach T. Thank you for your sacrifice and thank you to your families for their support of you. Happy Birthday America!!! And thank God for football!!!

and that is why they would not beat Alcoa and Maryville. No question of the talent. Saw it up close in the semifinals. That is why they will walk through 2a Higher divisions you have to have the whole package.

there again that chip on the shoulder of Memphis fans. My post was a dig at Adamsville. I also said one player can carry a team in 1 and 2a. That is what CR does for you. I did see trezvant on the field and I can say that they would not beat Alcoa. Also if you have ever seen any of my post you would know I am from Memphis and I am happy to see success out of Memphis. But I also am not ready to buy into the fact that Trezvant is the new Monster for the whole state. Let's see a few more gold balls before we start talking like that. Ensworth was 5-7 last year. Don't know how high of a ranking that warrants. But it was a down year for them. Don't count Preseason polls. You know how much weight those polls carry at the end of the year?

you have to consider where Adamsville is coming from. Last year they were sure that they would be in the Semi against Trezvant. They said one man could not beat them. They were correct a TCA TEAM went to their house and beat them in the second round. So now they are on the boat that one player can beat you. In 1a and 2A a stud can carry you. BUT seeing Trezvant in person in the semi final CR is great but I am realistic to know that a Team can beat one man. In 3a and up you have more depth to field a team. So yes Trezvant would not be able to handle Alcoa, Marryville etc. heck Marion gave them all of the team ball that they wanted. Don't get me wrong trezvant is a good team but don't start throwing them around as the greatest in the state in all divisions. Let's keep it real. 2a

Also teams that get a second chance will not be surprised by strength and speed. They should make it to the finals, but if they face MC again there will be no shell shock. I agree though there might be a stumble before then. It is always tough to repeat. Good luck to all the teams. August will be here soon.

Congrats Lions. So happy for your kids and the community. Great community and kids. Hard work pays off. Congrats from TCA!!!!

Alright I will chime in now. TCA will be young this year but don't look past them. The O line is the same line that went through the playoffs. The skill players we lost a lot. But guess what there were a few kids in the hallways that are now out for football. They are not ready to replace Parker, Thomas, Sergio, and Goldsmith. But with this line holes will be a lot wider and that helps younger runners. Now for the defense. TCA will now have a D that would assume to just punch in the mouth and keep you from the end zone and kick a field goal to win the game. This is a young group but they don't know that they are. They have an attitude that has not been at TCA. Looking forward to summer work outs, 7 on 7 and then the FALL The coaches are not shying away from competition. Jamboree we open up with Liberty. Iron sharpens Iron. Go Lions!!!!!!

I do not question coach White one bit. I just say it is inevitable that there will be some down years. That is any program. A lot of the times it happens when a big stud is gone because that player or players carried the lions share. Don't get me wrong I have followed coach white and all Memphis teams. Does not surprise what the Memphis teams are doing. Good luck to Trezvant and Whitehaven next year.

It is great when you have great talent. Being from memphis it is awesome to see success in football from memphis metro area. But there is a time in every school there are highs and lows. Afte CR is gone it will be interesting to see what they put together.

Prayers go out from TCA. Supporter that give their time and efforts are the backbone of any program. Sorry for the loss.

Time to put the golf clubs and tennis rackets down. It's spring practice time. First day of spring and I have to admit I have a spring in my step. Now to facts. Numbers were a little low but that is because several players still playing baseball and soccer. That's fine because it allows the younger guys some reps to help get their feet under them. Today was like a Thursday before game day so it was a lot of walk through Monday the pads go on. But seems to be a lot of speed out there and that is not our skill guys in other sports. Proud of the success of the boys in other sports but can't wait till they all come together. Looking forward to fall

you are correct. Adamsville is that team that makes our boys work hard year in and year out. It will be a different team for us next year but I believe we have a strong core of young men that believe in the program and believe in each other. And hey who knows there may be another Glodsmith or Kyle Aiken walking our halls. Only time will tell. Good luck and hurry up fall

nope to strong of a tradition. Growing pains at the start of the year but roll the rest. I expect the same with my Lions
