  2. Now we know who corrects the stats for y'all.
  3. Now we know who corrects the stats for y'all.
  4. Cardfan I can agree with that. Who ever comes out of R6 I want them to represent in the finals. I pray Friday is an electric night with no injuries. And a TCA victory!!!!
  5. No rose colored glasses. Just looking for a little credit and respect. We all know y'all are the big men on the block. Been told many times.
  6. Guys I agree. The game is on the field not on these forums. Just simply put out that there has been a lot of looking forward by a lot of schools. Waverly one of them. Mckenzie a few weeks back. The Redbirds are an extremely big, strong, solid team and there is no denying that. I just hope and pray for no injuries and at least a close game. Just like you guys we support our team and I feel like we can win this game. But what do I know? I am just the dad of a little ole freshman Good luck to all games this Friday.
  7. Hey Intense BigEdMo back on. I know I am new to this but I do remember things. You are not incorrect. Cardfan had a post back in october to Lacesout when talking about how waverly would do in the playoffs. Cardfan said it would be Waverly hosting Aville in the 3rd round. I did not see any 'If's" in the post. He was wrong about Waverly could his crystal ball be cloudy.
  8. Whole lot of IF's. If #12 is 100 % IF the passing game is on point .... If,if,if. Fact the Pony Express and the Stampede IS coming tomorrow. Pray for injury free tomorrow for both squads
  9. Yep that "one trick pony" has learned a few new tricks. Looking forward to a great battle.
  10. Intense you are right on point about Goldsmith. They have not seen a back like him and especially in this new offense. I will break it down with numbers. Game 1 Goldsmith 208 yards on 20 carries Rest of the team 40 yardsds on 11 carries Game 2 Goldsmith 117 on 22 carries rest of the team 2 yes on 6 carries Game 3 Goldsmith 229 on 24 carries rest of the team 20 on 8 carries Game 4 Goldsmith 271 on 40 carries rest of the team 64 on 16 carries now injured players back and 4 new players from basketball and baseball teams Game 5 Goldsmith 276 yards on 26 carries rest of the team 82 yards on 16 carries Game 6 Goldsmith 293 yards on 19 carries rest of the team 168 yards on 15 carries These numbers are from unapproved website. As you can see more production and les strain on Goldsmith. Also lets throw in 3 TD passes from Goldsmith in 2 games. This is something they have not seen
  11. I have to agree you should have hung up 50. Bet guess what you didn't. So in my buck you stink just as bad if not worse. We gave you every chance but out freshman sophomore defensive did not allow you to do that. Terrible game on both teams. I guess that is why you guys were just as silent on your side as we were. Both were sitting there thinking man neither team is going to make it past the first round of playoffs this year. But hey at least y'all were ranked number one at the start of the year.
  12. No you are wrong adamsville dad. The sweater vest come in larger sizes. Trust me I will be the one wearing the 3x vest Friday night.
  13. Well I will just cut to the chase and not be subtle. The supporting class this year for #1 and #5 are very weak this year. I can say that because my son is part of the supporting cast. That does not mean that they have no talent because they do. They are young and trying to get their feet under them. Same could have been said last year and the year before for USJ QB Had he had the same supporting class as Kyle did then he would have had a chance to be Mr Football. Those are not digs just facts. To get to the state it takes a whole team of stars and supporting cast. As far as the game Friday it showed up on the youthfulness of TCA in special teams. USJ did not man handle a young TCA team. They in fact were coached very well. They found a weak spot on our D and kept going to it. That is good coaching from a coach that most people from USJ want him gone I assume because they could not stand getting throttled by a superior TCA team the last two years. So in a nut shell football teams have their good years and bad years. TCA is down but #### will not be a bad year. And intense keep posting people that really know you like your insights. And the people that don't, well the truth hurts sometimes
  14. All sweatervesters come out and make the drive to support the LIONS! good luck to all the teams cranking it up for real tonight. GO LIONS!!!!!!!
  15. Young guys are progressing each week. Looking forward to a tough game. One good thing about being young is that they really don't know that they are not supposed to be any good. They show up work hard and do what the coaches tell them.
  16. Hey intense, Trump called and offered his helicopter for the little trip down to MCHS east if we would like to use it .
  17. I myself am a sweater vester. But I come from a long line of Bubba's. My dining choice are chitterlings and anything that flies. Getting ready for a feast.
  18. Glad to know you are here Intense. Waiting for your insight on TCA and MCH East!!
  19. Yes I miss him tonight also. He has very good insight on all the teams. Intense where r u????
  20. TCA had a good showing. JCM was big and athletic. Our young boys fought hard and the defense was able to handle the size and the speed. Offense, yes #1 dropped the rock twice. He has not fumbled in two years. Hope he got them out of the way. Offense of course was very vanilla but showed some flash here and there. The boys seem to be improving each week. I believe it is setting up for am epic battle September 4 at Aville. First thing first St George next week. Gut check right off the bat.
  21. It was a great step in the right direction. All we really need is positive improvements each week. The defense is coming together very nicely and the offense is close behind. The QB play was a lot more solid and he is getting the ball to the play makers like #5. And the emergence of #16 and #4 will open it up for #1 and #5. As I was reminded by a friend the other day, there is always so much focus on the first couple of games of the season to see where a team is at. But the real goal is that there is improvement all year and it is where you are at in the end of the season!
