I know 2 players aren't going to carry a team. It wasn't just Vic and Gabe, Drake Hudson was as talented as either of them when he wanted to play. We had a lot of talent when they were all freshmen but three years make a big difference.

MJ I agree with you completely. I am in the camp of he did it intentionally but if he was not suspended by TSSAA, his father/coach suspending him very well may be to protect his own child. I believe I would've reacted the same way that he did. I would not want my child to have to put up with what we all think and are saying in the media.

If WC wins and breaks the streak I'm afraid of what MJ fans will do. We may see them rioting on MJ road. This game is taken way to serious in Mount Juliet. I just found out this weekend that my high school in Indiana hasn't won a game since Sept 6 2013 24 losses in a row. But thats ok, 20 years ago we played in the state championship game twice in a row. Like some we still live in the past. MJGOLDENBEARS, I hope you understand I am just goofing around. I really only want my son to win and stay healthy. I really could care less about this rivalry. I realize our state championship chances left two years ago when Gabe and Vic bailed to Cookeville and Drake Hudson left school. iIf we manage to finish in the top 4 and not have to drive to Memphis round 1 of the playoffs I will be happy.

From someone who has not been around this rival long I see MJ feel like they will win simply because they always do and WC players just hope they can stop the streak. Since it dates back to older siblings playing,I believe it puts a lot of pressure on the WC kids. I also think the kids that grew up playing youth football for the "Bears" has an effect also.

I just seen a little clip from Gallatin Glencliff. Did the boy from Glencliff think he was in Texas and how does TSSAA feel like that hit on the umpire was not intentional?

Ok real question, not this WC just can't beat MJ. Is this a 35 -30 game or a 14 - 10 game? I believe it will be a 35 - 30 game.

Yeah I noticed that. He was pretty weak in the McGavock game. All I'm going to say is how great Bowes and Hooper are, along with how well the other boys do when they get their chances. In fact I would say we have 5 or 6 backs that would be better than any of MJs backs and if we passed 15 times a game our QB would have better numbers than MJs because he and our receivers are better than theirs. #23 is my son and I will not apologize for believing he should run the ball 10 times a game. Regardless of what it looks like from where we set, he puts everything he has into every game. He knows when he messes up and it eats on him long after everyone has moved on to the next game. You are worried about him making a block, I am just thankful he's around to miss a block.

Formula to WC win, Bowes 20 carries Hooper and Wilson 10 carries each its that simple.

Win or lose WC has the better players. If WC gives the ball away 3 times to MJ like they did to McGavick they will have trouble winning. If WC has long runs called back again, they will have trouble winning. If 23 doesn't touch the ball 10 times they will have trouble winning.

The unpredictable part of the offense is #23. He only needs 9 carries to get 140 yards like the Siegel game.

No haters towards MJ only towards the fans that want to insult other schools. This is a fun two weeks for me. My employees include one of MJ's star players and a cheerleader from Lebanon. My son plays for WC and some of my friends kids play for McGavock along with it being my nephews school. Unlike some, I am not rooting for anyone to lose, every employee of mine that wished to go to their game was given Fri night off and I wil not hesitate to give any of the MJ students off next Fri just as I will let WC student go cheer for their schools.

In the offense that WC runs, the full back gets the majority of the carries. The Siegal game Bowes had 22 carries 250 yards Jordan Hooper had 11 carries for 98 yards Jordan Wilson had 9 carries for 136 yards. They are all three good friends and you can tell it by the way they try to block for each other.

I doubt if very many people was interested in WC. The kids playing now didn't get coached at all,the last two years all the coaching was done for a couple star players only.

Don't get me wrong I wish you guys would've beat McGavock and We would be thrilled to see you beat MJ just as I'm sure MJ would love for you to beat us. Jarred is a friend of my son and he always hopes he does well and keeps up with how he does.

Some MJ fans feel the need to insult every other team, but how dare you bring up the problems with their program. WC may not have beat MJ the past 2 years while my son has been there, but the more I hear about the MJ coaching (not from this board) the better I feel about the choice we made not to attend MJ high school. We asked before buying in MJ if we were to buy in MJ zone if MJ would release my son to go to WC, even though he was going to be a freshman the coaches said no. We may lose one more time this year to them but between the 2 head coaches I prefer the coach who is repectful and shows he cares about the kids.

I agree with you. But if McGavock QB goes off for 150 rushing WC may be in trouble. Power backs give us more problems than little fast backs.

I did not see them last year I was going off the previous 2 years when I watched them play against WC. I guess I will adjust my opinion when I get a chance to see them play this year. 20 wins with only 2 players over 6ft is pretty impressive though.

Yeah I am getting the idea. Where do you see WC this year? Are they correct in still picking them last in the district?
