I have attempted to stay off CoachT most of this year but what happened last night (Tuesday, November 17) was totally sad. I have been Biased toward Waverly several times and said that the referees costed them the game when in actuality it was probably not the ref fault, but last night was definitely the referees who cost the Lady Eagles and Eagles of Summertown... Summertown Lady Eagles: 31 called fouls. The Lady Eagles shot 13-18 Free Throws. Went to the line 11 times. Eagleville Lady Eagles: 22 called fouls. The Lady Eagles shot 28-45 Free Throws. Went to the line 23 times. Summertown Eagles: 29 called fouls. The Eagles shot 15-26 Free Throws. Went to the line 15 times. Eagleville Eagles: 22 called fouls. The Eagles shot 19-31 Free Throws. Went to the line 16 times. Those are the official numbers and it was ridiculous. Summertown Lady Eagles star foward ended up with 3 early fouls. Caught a foul in the Early 3rd quarter and McGill played it safe and kept her on the bench til later in the 4th, When basically immediately when she went back out they called what was a bogus foul on her and fouled her out. That is what cost the Lady Eagles. In the guys game Summertown out scored eagleville 18-10 and cut the lead to just 2. The funny thing about the 3rd quarter is that Eagleville didn't attempt a free throw, but then the 4th quarter started and the fouls began to be called again and Summertown couldn't compete without the fear of foul outs. I try not to make excuses but when your calling charge on a player who just got clothlined then there is probably a problem. Lets get some opinion... The Radio station was saying it could had been a state record.. Did other teams experience officating like this.. My comment and post should not reflect Summertown High School or Newspaper offices that I work for... They are my own personal opinion...

Go Tigers... I been doing my thing with Summertown so haven't gotten to annoy you all that much this year... But go Tigers... Very Excited...

Mooreboy one of Loretto coaches verbally attacked me tonight. He had issues with my Facebook post. Lawrence County Sheriff department had to make him leave me alone. What was worst is he did it during the time Air evac was preparing to land. It was also pointed out that the "gentle"men that stand near the back corner of the end zone on the visitors side was talking really bad trash to our players. I will not be going back to Forsythe field unless it's necessary.

Was just confirmed that Loretto Starting QB transferred and the back up broke his leg. Mooreboy you make a great point. Normally I am Neutral but I have made an exception for Loretto. The way Loretto acted against Summertown and personal reason I have decided not to be neutral. All other games I do my best. I apologize for it.

Loretto fans, I would love to know what happened to all that euthuiasm you displayed after your win over little ole Summertown... Guess you know not to bully those who are bigger and better than you...

Why do you make that automatic assumption? Because S-Town is an upstart school? Partner the Eagles are not your normal upstart team... If they had been able to play Loretto later in the year, You could flip flop the score... You are in for a surprise tomorrow night..

I created this for Summertown in particular... I am going to post my articles on here for whoever to see.... and chat about whatever concerning the great football program beginning in Summertown.

They have a Freshmen QB starting.. They have 2 upperclassman running back who are very good ball players...Thats about all I got other than they are very well coached....

Huntland was impressive last year... Are they down or have they just played tough games?

Summertown plays with a lot of heart, has an excellent coach and a great fan base behind them... I do not know a thing about Huntland... No matter what the score is Huntland will know that they played a football team with heart... Go Big Blue

After the way you all acted after beating Summertown, I really wanna see you what happens after the Waverly game... Waverly is not a first year program with mostly underclassmans starting... lol...
