What was great,,,, your Varsity against Summits freshman or Summits V against WC....

Scrimmage went well... WC has some big boys ...

Summit scrimmaged Warren Cnty... Summit Varsity dominate while Warren played some Varsity players against Summits Freshman.... Classy real classy

Warren County kept some Jr's and Sr's in against Summits Freshman team..... Class pure class

Agree 100%..... It's not football but athlete against athlete in a more confined space.... Now that being said I was at the Summit / Centennial spring game and Summit handled themselves pretty well....

Agreed,,,,, in addition to the SSMS talent the overall growth of the area has brought some talent as well.... and that talent is making a difference..Summit as I said before will make if very hard for teams to be them....

Appreciate the response ... I know quite a few players and parents on the team and since my post months ago I spoke to em and watched them play..... Should have a good year...

Give em credit for scheduling the 5A teams listed.... Summit does square off against Spring Hill but o don't think they Spring Hill put (3) 5A teams on thier schedule...

I already stated Summit as a dark horse in Region 5.... Not sure about the entire 5A group lot of talent all over da place...

Again for the last time I am not who u think .... love 30 like his my own but he is not...... And there is no need for you or anyone to fear my son.... He's a good kid with a great heart ...

LOD I hear you and you are definitely not who I was referring to.... when Coach K was announced there was a lot of how do I say politely BS comments over the selection.... not to mention an overall negative vibe about the program in general.... I do not know Coach K or the previous Coach or any players on the team just couldn't stand the negativity..... Looking forward to seeing Riverdale at Summit for the scrimmage in August....

Cool article.... interesting to hear your take on their 7V7 tournament performance....and trust me no one more than me understands games are played with the pads and 11 on 11.... I know I saw a team that has some pretty good athletes....and some who wanted to debate with coaches,,,which IMO does not bowed well for team chemistry.... I am pulling for Coach K and his team to make the naysayers eat their words cause lord knows this sight has a lot of them...who by the way have been pretty quite lately....

That is a good point Shelbyville would be in the 2-5 slots IMO probably 3-4,,,, I do think this will be one of if not the most competive regions in 5A ball

They squared off today and now Summit is done with the 7V7's next week boys get into pads and scrimmages begin.... And for what its worth.... Summit's 1's beat Centennial's 1's....

ok... I'll bite..... Your list makes sense and you could flop teams in the 2-4 spot.... not touching #1 until someone knocks them from the mountain top.... Summit will be the dark horse who could screw things up for some teams.... watched them in spring ball against Page and Centennial and you could see confident aggression when needed....that comes due to some of the senior class players being varsity starters since their sophomore year and the same for the junior class... to say Summit puts a team on the field that is battle tested, play as one and well coached is an understatement... Going to enjoy the season and wish all a safe and healthy one..... Peace.....

Hey Wicked I just came back from a trip up north fished the Canyons and 22NM south of Montauk ..... Landed a 200 LB mako and a couple footballs .... Mako came home tume went back.....

Little did have a good game and converted 2 critical 1st downs late.... And u got me.. And u are right about Summit with thier undersized team....and yes Carter is a dynamic player no question about that.... Good luck....

You really do not have any clue about Summit's team ..... When the rooster comes out you will see the balance.... I've watched Carter play since he was 7 and yes he is dynamic but Summit's O will not live and die on his legs... As far as Odem down the side lines he will see Carter quite a bit I am sure.... And I would expect since Spring Hill reloaded with the same type of QB from last year that Odem may just have the same type of game.....Kids a good player for sure.....

Strength of Summit is they play as one and for clarity you could flip a coin during any game and the players that had a great game could be Jr's or Sr's.... one thing I will say is if a team wants to test the middle of the field in the passing game good luck...
