You're right about one thing, You can't argue with idiots (plural). You are 2 and 3 against Huntingdon over the last 5 football seasons...not an opinion, just a fact. You're right about last season, the defending 2A state champs were in that county and you skated by that powerhouse last year. Keep pumping each other up and after y'all get put out (again) this year, travel North and watch a couple of real Goliath's go at. We'll take your money too. Bring coco and the swallowjuice with you....we got room for them too.

Listen Coco, you an your close friend can assume whatever--but the facts are what they are. I'm sort of like you, I'm accustomed to Milan going past the first round or two and I actually thought it was a sad display when the 1A teams (Dresden, Trenton, Huntingdon) has basically throttled you guys this season. If I were y'all, I'd get the 1A teams off your schedule and try to get you a couple of Jackson teams on there. You have totally no business playing Huntingdon what-so-ever and you do it for what reason? We and They know they are better than you guys and pretty much have been over the last 5 years or so. Take some advice....look at your win/loss record at the end of the season and see where you guys can throw in some cupcakes, instead of 1A powerhouses.

If beating Milan makes you believe that Huntingdon is the real deal, then believe it. That's not really a good measuring stick there junior.

They were in the 2nd grade too worried about recess. I believe that would be around 1987 or so (baseball). He wasn't sitting on the bench in Henry County the night Dresden played Milan and I was actually feeling sorry for the fall of Milan to the degree of a blowout in 2 quarters. That was the closest to a running clock in any jamboree around here. Keep living off your history--take that history and a buck and you can almost buy a Coke with it. If I were Milan supporters, I'd be more concerned about Coach Morris leaving in the next year or so. If we are hearing it up here, then I know it's probably deafening down there. Keep working, the kid from Peabody will be graduating this year and you may reclaim your position as Gibson County's best high school team. A 2 year hiatus from that role probably makes you and your boyfriends pretty sick down there.

You are correct. That game means nothing at all in relation to this game. All three teams are built differently and Kevin38 has made a very factual statement.

True, very true....but the high octane offense subs a lot quicker than the ground and pound team. Dresden have freshmen playing at the end of the 1st quarter and generally in the 2nd quarter for sure. I don't think in any game this year, there hasn't been a freshman or some freshman "not" playing before halftime. And when Dresden has a running clock, they go to the ground and quit airing it out. Either way you look at it, both teams can score a lot of points. I don't see this game being a 42-41 kind of game. Both defenses are solid and it'll come down to about 3 or 4 plays.

MirrorThief----this will be a game until kickoff and then the game will be over. There is no way that CA matches up with Huntingdon in any aspect. They are too physical for you on defense and your defense is too weak to match their power on offense. The QBs/RBS are punishers with the ball and those hits your team will try to deliver in the first quarter will diminish as the game goes on. When the offense flips the script and becomes the headhunters, your defense will be in trouble and it'll only take a couple of series for you to see it live. No shame for CA, but simply outmatched on both sides of the ball. If CA can keep it from being a running clock in the first half, consider it a victory--no matter the final score.

Yes, there are several regions that are way worse than 6 1A and 7 1A from top to bottom. It's just the top teams at the top of those regions are really separated from the majority of the region. Dresden, UC, Trenton, Huntingdon, and Wayne County----they are built and perform completely different than the majority of teams in their regions. That's the parody of football. Just so happens, at the top of both regions are very excellent football programs. The top teams in the majority of the regions across the State would lose to the top teams in 6 and 7 every Friday night. They just don't get to experience it until it gets on the State's stage for everyone to see.

I'll give you some credit little pony, if you want to be good or great....find someone who is and try to copy them. You're learning and that's improvement. You keep riding my coat tails and people will start believing you may actually know a little something about the things you post. Junior, I'll give you a B- for effort alone. Keep working and you'll belong in the "big" stables soon.

If this were a "track" meet only contest, I'd pick UC. But this game involves a football that has to be passed or carried, and it's actually how fast the football progresses down the field and not "just" a player. Dresden can get the football down the field a lot faster than UC. UC is very methodical in the 3,4,5 yard progressions and eventually they bust one. If they eat that clock and get down a couple of TDs, it's going to be a long night for UC.

I'm not that familiar with Mayfield, but I have seen some of there highlights on WPSD. I can't comment on UC's history against Kentucky based teams. If the poster is correct, then they have a good program---but I heard the same about some of the Ballard teams as well. We took care of those guys pretty easy earlier this year. VolStomper---what an original name to generate some friendships on CoachT. I guess now that Kentucky enters a football season with a chance to go 500, they are now a power team. Saying what Mayfield did to UC several years ago is about as bad as how the CoachT poster BigPurple brags about Milan's four championships....since 1941 or something.
