I would say that sounds like our offense too. What about Fairview's defense? We are pretty young and inexperienced overall, but we're also bigger on the Dline. That trophy is coming back to Rudderville for another year! I think we got what it takes to beat Fairview and their refs! 🙄

Preseason predictions can be all over the place, so let's see em! 2nd ever Battle of 840, and last year's home team won it. Will that be the case this year? When is the last time Page has even won at Fairview? I'm feeling good about the Patriots this year! I think they are building on last year rather than starting over,but there's a lot of new faces playing major roles. I expect Fairview to be better and tougher at their place. Page 31-17

I never gave an assessment. Still wondering myself, but your insight on Page is still useless. The Spring game you saw had at least 10 major contributors out to spring sports, and didn't Spring Hill struggle in all those areas as well? Are yall just flat out not very good then?

So you have no idea. Page beat Cascade tonight 28-14. 14-0 when starting QB and RB were pulled. Long year ahead for Cascade. I'm excited for the Battle of 840! Go Patriots!

What about against spread teams? What was the Soddy Daisy score? Your dangerous special teams can be neutralized by touchbacks and one of the best punters in the state

Michael Roberts from Page has nearly 1000 yards rushing and 500 yards receiving, but doesn't get the luxury of combining those stats with his team high nearly 100 tackles and team high TFL all because he plays OLB and not a "defensive back"... What a shame, he is the best football player in 4A. I feel sorry for you Michael Roberts

Good win MC. #4 and #6 are big time players... What a disgraceful act by a few MC players to trash talk and celebrate another player being injured. I haven't been able to think about anything else from that game other than that. You don't see that at any level of the game. Our player has possibly torn his ACL and well after the young man is writhing in pain, MC players are celebrating and trash talking. Not one person took a knee after the realization of a severe injury. Then a few plays later #15 for us goes down and MC players literally stand over him and keep talking trash. A fight almost broke out because our players had enough at that point. I know it's a big game for both teams, but these young men have to learn how to compete. I don't think Osteen saw it, and it was so obvious that I'm sure he's heard it by now and going to address. Absolutely despicable actions during a great HS football game.

Running game battle should be fun to watch and judge, but the best story line of the night (besides obviously playing for the region title) is the top 2 Mr. Football candidates in 4A battling for votes! Page has the better RB, it's not even close. Marshall County has the better run blocking Oline, but I think that's debatable. And having watched Page's young Oline all year, I've seen great improvement from even mid-season till now. IMO, advantage Page

I just said this a few weeks back, but the referee program in this state is terrible! Football in TN is getting better imo, but poor refereeing and referee supervision will hold it back! I've left a few Page games this year completely unsatisfied as a sports fan bc the referees played such a big role. This is a big dark cloud that is tainting the beautiful game of football!

Riverdale has a ton of excitement right now. It's been a long time coming for them to get back to a meaningful game like this in October. That being said, Oakland has been dominant recently and dominant again this year. Advantage Oakland, 24-20

You have a system that's built off of a good prediction method, but I'm willing to bet your average takes a hit in the early playoff rounds when teams like Lexington play teams out of area. I don't believe they would make the playoffs coming out of 4A region 4, and you don't have 6-1 Marshall County or 5-2 Page on here. Not in the same region, but Lipscomb isn't on here either. I understand it's all about win/loss, but when one area is just so much weaker than another and your system doesn't have many games outside of the area to rate those teams any further. You get silly picks and rankings that I bet even you wish you could change. Ultimately, ppl look at the silly predictions and after awhile don't care to look anymore. That happened to me this year. I'd rather hear from someone with actual logic.

If Forrest can find a target down field that can catch the ball consistently they are a top 3 2A team. Their O and Dline can compete with anyone in 2A

Turchetta says in the paper he thinks SH can upset MC. He also said during preseason that they are the best team in the region. MC 42-18
