One advantage Maryville will have is the depth on defense,especially the line.Keeping fresh d-line in will help.

Hopefully coaches are working hard on the passing game this week.Going to need it this week for sure.

Scrimmages are over,event Friday is just for show.The passing game really needs to get better.Only a few days of practice left to get it going.Maybe we have only been seeing smoke and mirrors.woe is me oh woe is me.

Remember the last Championship year 2014 when Vaught and Ensley filled the air with long throws to Brock,Hopkins,Markham,Tillery and others.Those were the days.

I agree,kept waiting to see changes in the offensive players and plays since what was being called and who were in just weren't working the whole game.Some of the best players on the team were only used for a couple of plays.Really expected the Quarles's magic adjustments at halftime to happen, like in the 2014 Championship game.But the same offense came out and no rotation of players.

Don't know if you are referring to my post or not,but it had nothing to do with a Freshman or Sophomore.It had to do with using the best talent at the position no matter what class they are in.

Maryville only streams their own home games,understand it is done by the A/V or Media dept. of the school as a teaching tool.Heritage and Blount County need to start doing the same.

Does Heritage broadcast their home games on the NFHS network?They are a member. If not,does anyone know if the game against Maryville will be live streamed by anyone.

From watching the last two scrimmages some changes may have to happen on offense.

Based on roster posted on unapproved website yesterday it is Hodge,Orren,Ensley and Walker.

Looks like four Freshman will be on varsity this year.
