I guarantee you meigs has Forrest utmost respect. You don't go 9-1 in that region if your not a dang good ball team. That is a very long ride for sure. Safe travels.

Forrest has looked very average the last 2 weeks. If that continues we will not get that rematch with Marion.

If Forrest plays to their capability I strongly believe we will win. That is a BIG "if". It looks like the rockets peaked at mid season with the wins over Watertown and page. The last 2 weeks have not been good football. We look very average with no big play making ability. Offensively it's been a struggle. If this continues meigs will roll. If we play like we can we will welcome Marion in for a rematch in round 3.

More of a pocket guy but he can run. He is one of the best QB 2A for a reason. I read before last nights game he had thrown for 2300+ yards 34 Tds and 64% completion. He has very good receivers. Has MC played many pass oriented teams this season? Once we (Forrest) got after him we had success. If you let him sit back in the pocket he will pick you apart. I don't expect him to have much time against MC but, he will be in the gun to give him some extra time.

I agree Bass. That is a loooooong bus ride.

H20 beat westy by 49-30. Not sure MC gets tested for 4qtrs. They will pull away unless they turn it over.

MC should be favored as they were state runner up last season. Any knowledgeable football fan will agree. Don't sleep on H20 though. They have the best passing game you have seen this season. Very good QB and receivers. They do not have the D to match though.

Both teams played very sloppy the entire game. Worst game I've seen forrrst play in quite awhile. Even Tyner wouldn't let us beat ourselves. Both teams had turnovers and snap miscues. The late hit on Tyner when they had Forrest behind the sticks was huge on the game winning drive. Could get ugly next week when Meigs co comes to visit.

I have heard that Tyner does not cover kicks real well. That most opposing teams get great field position. The rockets are solid in special teams with good returners so this may favor the rockets if true.

The winner will be the team that executes its strengths. Forrest has good team speed, not great. We love to pound and grind and wear you down and win it the 4th quarter while your tounge is hanging out. We have a BIG line and backs that run hard. Sounds like Tyner is more explosive so should make for a very interesting game.

Still don't have much feel on who wins this game. tyner seems like a box of chocolates a you don't know what we will get. I believe Forrest will be very focused after last week and being home will help.

I think MC takes this one pretty easy. Next round though, not so fast my friend.

I agree MC has been there done that as they should be the favorites. Lots of ball to play before that happens though.

Don't be fooled by his size. He runs like 150lb back. Very shifty and elusive. The only game I saw him play in was the Forrest game. Once contact was made he went down.

He ain't hitting the Kool aid this early in the week but, don't worry I'm sure he will make up for it.

H20 will be a very tough out this post season. They can score with the best of them. Purple tigers should roll setting up an exciting 2 rd matchup at Marion.

Every game this time of year you have a chance. If we play like we did against JC we will get beat. I belive that loss may have been the best thing that could have happened. Really don't know anything bout Tyner but, looking at their scores from this season it looks to me you can't tell which tyner team shows up. For that reason I'm taking the home Rockets 31-21

Region record counts first. If both had 2 region losses it would go head to head for the first tie breaker. That would hard to believe. I would also guess Marion don't want H20 as their first round opponent

I believe H20 wins but, could be closer than the experts think.

Will make for some great football Friday night as both games are between the top four teams in the region.
