Same as 12 last year. He was far and away the best 1A offensive weapon. But like I tell my youngest, you take what you get and you don't throw a fit. It worked for 12. He's been the OVC newcomer of the week for 2 weeks in a row as a true freshman and he touched the ball about 8 times a games last year.

Enjoy week 1. Week 2 may not be much fun.

I've seen both teams up close the past two weeks. I would favor HHS by 12-14 points. HHS strength is the run and TC did a poor job slowing down the run. HHS on the other hand had the best luck with stopping the runs between the tackles which TC did a lot of. The best opportunity I do see for Trousdale is through the air. The big armed QB is sometimes erratic but if he got hot, TC could do some damage against a very vulnerable Huntingdon secondary. TC also needs to let Huntingdon over pursue and hit #2 with short passes in space. Both teams were playing their stiffest competition of the year in the games I saw, so they might be totally different against more balanced competition. I would love to see TC get the win but I think Huntingdon will prove to be a little stronger.

They are a true TC team. The 2016 version. We played without our current coach for 35 years. Now we have him. This is our true 2016 team. You need to come to grips with the fact that the 1990 TC team or coach isn't walking back in the door. We are better than you...right now. You may be better in 3 years but that doesn't make a hill of beans difference in 2016. Wonder in San Fran ever wants Bill Walsh back. He's not coming back either. Neither are Montana, Craig or Rice. If you keep comparing what you have now to what you had (some of the best teams ever in 1A/2A), you will consistently be disappointed.

You should check out the ramblings of Ironmike from last years boards. The same confident cocky posts about what WC was going to do. Rice this and Rice that. We all know how that worked out. They may very well get the gold ball this year, but they may not even be in the game. I assure you you need to worry about round 3 before you bother thinking about round 4.
