If I'm reading the brackets right and both HV & Hampton win Friday's games then there will be a rematch at Hampton instead of on the Hill. Is this correct? And I'm not trying to look forward or implying anything just asking.

It's true that EHS fans travel as well as any teams would and probably better. These are the true football fans! I sat on the home side of the old stadium and was usually saddened at the lack of vocal support for the football team. Most football fans understand the importance of having the so called 12th man (fans) to keep the teams motivation on a high level. Sure games are to socialize and have a good time but when your team wins so does everyone else. So go to the game, stay at the game and support all of the Cyclone's not just the band or the football team.

I think this is Betsy's year to beat CAK by +10.

I really respect the type of team that AE puts on the field just like Hampton. Hard nosed football players leaving it all on the field and shaking hands after the game and respecting their opponent win or lose. If Hampton doesn't win then I hope AE takes it all the way. Congratulations to Mike, the Landers, & the Lander fans on a job that most thought couldn't be done. You all made Carter County proud! I'm not sure why you say that I don't like SN. I've never posted a negative post against them or anyone else to the best of my recollection. As a matter of fact if you go back to the first few pages of this thread, I picked SN to win.

Good man! I'm a retired pipefitter but I could also weld what I fit. Through my years I had a lot of welders that thought they got paid from the shoulder to the holder. I totally respect all craftsmen!!!

I agree also. With the new classifications coming out this year and most privates going to a different division, it would have made better sense to lower the number of classifications. I know its about money but a good association with sound judgments would probably make more money in the long run.

It is getting worse, it was reported tonight on tv that the basketball team was disqualified to participate in tournaments also. I hate it for these athletes that are basketball only players. I agree with most that these are adult and administration issues and the players shouldn't have been the scapegoat! This is such a quagmire!

Unless HV just implodes they should take this one rather easily.
