The man can get under folks skin like no other.... from a born and raised Huntingdon faithful, much respect! Hopefully we’ll see them in the playoffs, and he’ll get the chance to pi## the whole town off again. Ha!

Who’s Puckett? I was just browsing through different threads and I seen yet another example of how Huntingdon is living rent free in the fine folks of Lake County’s head.

LOL! You all can’t help yourselves can you? You do know the only time Huntingdon’s starters have played in the second half was last week, right? The 3rd and 4th string is typically in the game by the 4th quarter, but please keep on promoting your agenda.

That was what I was trying to say in my post. We know there are a ton of really good teams. We just want to play them. Instead we have to give our opinion of what would happen if we did play. Some predictions are better than others.... but for a bunch of amateurs we’re still better than Lee Corso.

What do you want them to say? That the team sucks? Fact is they’ve lost 2 games in 2 years to the same team. It’s other fan bases that keep talking about them. They do scrimmage Covington every year and there’s never really a huge visual gap. We all know that doesn’t equate to the regular season. We’re a 1A team that plays a 1A schedule with longtime rivals of higher classification mixed in. We’re starved for competition. If you ask anyone from Huntingdon, the coaches, or the players, they would LOVE to go back to playing Trenton, Westview, Union City, Dresden every year, but it is what it is. We can only talk about how we’d match up. Basically it’s a glorified pi##ing match and we will never actually know what would happen if we played. Keep winning and bring another gold ball home.

Yep, you’re infatuated. Just Saying I guess we will get the chance to even the series since they won’t let us go to 2A or 3A where we belong. You know, turf and all. Is Huntingdon getting a new coach?

Y’all are seriously infatuated with Huntingdon. Huntingdon was never the #1 team. We will see y’all next year. If we’re lucky we get another game with Cornersville in the playoffs...

We don’t want to be the favorites in anything. Any Huntingdon fan that puts that junk out there is insane.

I’d love to win the Gold ball every year, but Jesus.... Huntingdon is always in the conversation. I’m as disappointed as anybody, but there’s only going to be 1, 1A team in the state that’s not going to be disappointed at the end of the season. Let’s not be totally delusional here. We’re not the only town in Tennessee that takes this game serious. Cornersville is a great football town with a great senior led team. Huntingdon is a great football town with a really good Junior heavy team.

Great game Cornersville! Disappointed, but hats off! Y’all are the better team period. Shoulda coulda woulda.... not about to call for Swenson head after 24-2 the last 2 seasons.... I was in the Fire Fulmer camp, and I learned my lesson. Go get that Gold! Y’all have a great team, and awesome fan support!

Been a long week of banter back and forth but I’ve got to say I enjoy reading posts from the Cornersville fan base more than any on this website. CB10 seriously has a gift.... lol I seriously cringe every time somebody calls him out. Lots of crow to be eat after the conclusion of this one either way! If we’re on the loosing end I’ll take mine medium over rice. Cornersville- 28 Huntingdon-35 GO STANGS!!!!

Should know the outcome by this Time tomorrow night. This one has the makings of a classic. Both teams seem to be very evenly matched. I can see it being closer than a touchdown either way. Fully expect for everything from both squads left on the field. Praying for safe travels for the Cornersville fans and an injury free hard fault game for both teams. Sadly, Either way it’s going to be the last time some of these kids ever lace it up on a Friday night.

Not a Ricky Scaggs fan?!? lol It was actually a good show, but I am a Scaggs fan....

All teams need that wake up call.... I’m not saying Huntingdon hasn’t been challenged because Waverly gave them a good game early, Milan was one of those you never felt comfortable, and Wayne Co. hit us in the mouth pretty good in the first half. There hasn’t been that game where they’ve had real adversity in the 4th quarter though. It is what it is though. Cornersville will be dealing with the same thing, with the difference being that senior heavy class. Good luck to Trenton tomorrow night.

Na.... that’s just a couple of people posting on coacht that happen to be from Huntingdon. I don’t even think a Huntingdon poster mentioned the uprights.... could be wrong. We all have that one cousin we don’t claim. I think that analogy fits here.

I hope this snow melts tomorrow or we may have to wait an extra day for this game. I assume they’d reschedule to Saturday if school is canceled Friday? Not positive about that?

#13 from MTP was a very classy young man. Heck the whole team was. Nice to see.

That’s bad.... lol Cornersville and Huntingdon are getting up there with Huntingdon/McKenzie rivalries after 1 year.... very impressive

I just hope Tim’s heart holds out until UT is decent again. He doesn’t hide his frustration very well on the radio.
