And they will continue to do many of those things because they do have athletes year in and year out. I wish my school could achieve some of those same things you mentioned. I think we could match athletes but coaching , community and in school support not so much.

Anyway before I took us off topic which I apologize for I would like to ask a scenario. Is i saw a report from Beres on NC 5 that TSSAA is investigating. I believe the rule is if anyone leaves the sideline then that are ejected. If that is enforced could these teams have to forfeit next week if there are a lot of players effected? Didnt that happen to Overton a year or so ago.

Lol. I watch his show and really enjoy it. He does a great job and He is from that area. He never claims to be an unbiased reporter and I think him being an honest guy like I believe him to be that he would even admit to having a biased towards his home town teams.

You know it really is. These teams are so blessed to be playing this year. Like 22 said all we can do is hope they learn from it.

To be clear I am sure there are some great kids at Shelbyville and at every school. I think kids get a bad wrap now a days. But there are times when kids and coaches put winning above the safety of the other teams. I can promise you at ANY program if it is made clear that if we care of their 1 player then we will win. Kids hear we have to take him out.

There are clips and videos all over the place. Not hard to get video now a days. Didn't Shelbyville get flagged for multiple unsportsmanlike penalties on late hits versus Page QB? Ripped his helmet off once. I am old and lucky enough to be around coaches in the area and things like coaches recruiting etc gets around via word of mouth.

I can see this. I believe Shelbyville staff coaches this. I have watched several Shelbyville games and they are abdirty dirty team. They were intentionally trying to take the Page QB out in week 3. Some will call it being physical because they support the team in reality it is dirty play. Again I have only seen the streaming games but that is my opinion of that team. FC is not innocent either. They hired a home town guy once again and they are again getting what the good ole boys deserve.

There is not science. There is politics around it all. We are being forced to wear mask even the kids in the classroom so why are they being quarantined for following the guidelines. Originally the science was if you were in contact now in order to get kids in school they upped that to 10 minutes within 6 feet for 1 reason. So schools could have class change a kids could gonto school. The whole thing sucks and has been made 10 times worse by grown ups playing politics. One side wants everyone to be as miserable as possible to drive votes for their side

Will be interesting to see how Page fairs against Franklin tomorrow night. Franklin is an average 6A school but would be a very good 5A School that did beat Summit. I know it may not be a fair evaluation with both teams only having 24 hours to prepare. I do think Page has done one heck of a job improving this season. Sport even said they would struggle to not to finish last in the region (or something to that account) earlier this year.

TSSAA has released them on their website. Shelbyville was cutoff for 6A (somehow their numbers miraculously dropped) but they are still in 6A at 1512 kids.

Just my 2 cents but I don't think Shelbyville is as good as they think and Sports wants the easiest path. They obviously want no part of Hillsboro.

By the way I still don't think Gallatin is as bad as everyone is saying. They have played some very good teams.
