  1. Thomas More College in Crestview Hills, Ky will be adding wrestling to its list of Division III athletics programs for the 2016-2017 season. If interested you can contact Head Coach Mark Disalvo or fill out the recruitment form here: http://www.tmcsaints.com/recruiting/forms/wrestling
  2. I totally agree! Tennessee wrestling needs to have one and only one division.
  3. I agree J Rob's camp are incredibly intense! You have no choice but to get better! In addition, Jordan's camps are always great! And also Avery Zerkle's Golden Cross wrestling camps in Cincinnati are great!
  4. The separate divisions in Tennessee is detrimental to the sport. Tennessee wrestling would benefit much more from having all of the teams in one division. Just think of how much more intense the state tournament would be. Father Ryan, Baylor, Cleveland, and Bradley Central all competing for a state title. We need to combine all of the divisions into one.
  5. There are a bunch of things any wrestler can do in the offseason to put themselves ahead of the competition. For me, the most important things that helped me as a wrestler were attending intense summer camps. I don't mean just any camps, but camps geared toward kids who want to be the best. And second, just getting into a practice room twice or three times a week with good quality training partners.
  6. This is impressive! I am very familiar with these team from Kentucky and Cincinnati, they are always good! Even though a couple of these teams had a lot of people not wrestling, these are great wins!
  7. This is a tough question. I personally started wrestling very young. I began when I was five. I'm not sure where you live so that may or not even be an option. However, I am very glad I started early. It gave me a leg up on most all competition and let me enjoy it more. However, there will always be a point if you start early where you get burnt out. It's almost inevitable. If you make sure your child is having fun though and doesn't think of wrestling as a job, then you should be fine!
  8. If anyone is looking to get some good training in for Super 32 or for the upcoming season, Knox Elite wrestling club has open mats three days a week. They have consistently had a good number of studs in the room from all grade levels and great intensity. Tuesdays 6:00-8:00 Thursdays 6:00-8:00 Sundays 1:00-3:00 11153 Outlet Drive Knoxville, Tn
  9. Im from Northern Kentucky so I know a lot about the clubs and wrestlers up there. I definitely recommend this camp!
