East lit . But to the controlled chaos , I like that and I believe they just mainly beat people cause they were able to manhandle them . I didnt mean to say they weren't well coached . Only 1 loss and to come back with 4 min to go in finals to win .,he is doing something right . Just saying I really only see one actual shooter on that team . Most teams like Hamilton more or less just throw it up and just go get it . When that's what get u wins keep doing it . I think east and them would have been very entertaining . 90-88 game most likekly . I have to say I really liked little # 3 thought he turned that game around when he pressed the heck out of the sophomore for Fulton . Please don't get me wrong they deserve the crown .,

Congrats to Hamilton also for the effort by Fulton .,now let me just say this .,Hamilton crowned state champ . But please somebody agree with me that is not a fundamental team at all .,clearly not the best team in AA . Best team didn't even make it there . What happens when you play in toughest district in AA . 10 Aa . East had shooters . Very well coached . Size and good defensive scheme . Not sure how MLK beat them in district semi which had them match up Stratford in region . Still much better than Stratford. . Why I love march . Best team not always crowned champs . But that is nothing to take away from Hamilton furious comeback . Congrats again

No sweep by Memphis it's called basketball put it in the hoop and stop the other team . That's playing basketball . Just watched a brick by Hamilton see why they dropped to AA

Sorry . Most players are not even from where they are playing . I know some kids on Memphis aren't from Memphis . I know kids on Blackmon aren't from around there . It's just the way it is today . Look at mr basketball last year in AA he played at four different schools I believe in five years . His dad money moved him to different spot til found the right one . It's all about showcasing your talent if u have it in the right style where you get noticed . Sad fact it's that way . If life is all about that I would send my kid to play for penny also .,I would have more respect for my kid than that and teach him to do your best to use your talent to make players around you better and thrive in your community and if u get noticed great there is more to life then basketball . Yes loved my time playing in state tournament finals but everybody on our team wasn't players brought in from other areas .

All of AAA were blowouts , not just Memphis . The system is flawed let's be real . Let's all be happy to play the game and not worry where everybody is from . All honesty it's not like that anymore . I could probably do a survey of all state tournament teams and most players

You know how much NCAA made on march madness last year 800 million . Players want to be able to get an agent have endorsement deals get paid etc. players and coaches all get together and boycott . Can you imagine this Tuesday or even Thursday when the true tournament begins all teams refused to take the floor till NCAA agreed to at least look at that situation . I know it would never happen but NCAA would cave because this tournament is their big money maker . They made 1 billion dollars last year . 800 million coming from march madness . They would have to listen

Ok let's get back to the games Hamilton by 22 Alcoa by 6 Fulton by 4 stratford by 12 any thoughts . Stratford easily could lose by 12 as well . They are the night and day team of this tournament

Why did Hamilton drop so they didn't have to deal with juco Shelby state aka Memphis east .,lol

Memphis is a different beast I will agree almost like a junior college that recruits but there is enough talent to go around out there .,but it's still decided on the court .,.. I would love to see a Hamilton and eithier Fulton or Stratford final . I give Alcoa edge over Livingston but then Hamilton probably gets them ..Stratford has size and number 1 is a special and electrifying guard who has to stay on the floor or they lose first game . Fulton better shooting team than Stratford but I don't think they match up well size wise .

A couple questions . 1. Why is Hamilton so good ? 2. Is this Fulton's third straight year in state?

You know this time of year always brings back memories . Back in 83 a brand new school in its third year gets into state tournament in AA . Memphis east was the power House in AA that year . The new school was Beech , was just hoping to draw opposite of East we did . Everyone except us thought it was one and done didn't give us white boys a chance . One by one we knocked them off and there sat east waiting for us in the finals . Knew we we're in throuble at half . We played our best half of the year near flawless and still down 2 . Got to the fourth and they put us away . Still Great memories of surprising all those people in memorial gym by getting to the finals and playing with east for a half . As for this year . Like to see Stratford Fulton matchup . Take winner of that game against Hamilton

It's kind of watching a team play once and can't throw it the ocean saying that can't shoot . Everybody has bad shooting nights and from what I heard Stratford hit some threes and to me they can't shoot eithier . But only saw them play twice . So really not sure on them . Stratford to me is all about # 1 and the bigs down low . Match up problems for most .

Where is MJ hoops all this talk these past few years now they might finally actually do it and he is no where around !!

Just saw MLK up 5 2:00 to go now they lost by 13 what happened overtime

It's a tournament sport you better be ready every night .,.perfect season then lose first game of tournament which put you on same side in Stratford in region .,still shocked they lost at home . Wonder. If 1 just dominated the game for Stratford or if the two bigs down low had good games .,

Ok let's all stop and be objective . East is a great team that at times doesn't look great . They have three players that can go off at any time .,I watched #2 single handily take over the Stratford game in the third quarter scoring from three driving the lane and finishing off the quarter with the step back three . You also have player of the year Canadiate who can jump defend shoot the three and take you off the dribble . #1 can get hot from 3 also and a great rebounder as well . 9AA was way down but everyone says next year is the year . All the great players are leaving in 10AA and 9AA will be getting stronger . Won't believe it till I see it . They will still have athletes and 9AA won't . Sycamore 45 not a man yet if he keeps improving and gets stronger he could be an equalizer maybe . Sycamore has some great shooters . WH could find some chemistry could make a run a lot of sophomores played this year . Should be better because of it . They just don't have an identity right now . I think greenbrier loses their big 2 players not sure . Unless heritage transfers somebody in can't see them . Westy nope . Harpeth will be Harpeth . Chetham nope . Well let's just get east to the state

I said early in the year after watching greenbrier play . I thought they were most complete team . They had great point guard good shooter and an athletic Big that can play inside or out . The key to beating greenbrier is taking away their point guard masking someone else run point .
