How in the world did the coaches and administrators allow to happen . I was the coach I would send a quick message I don't care what game it was and what the game meant .?my team would forfeit if it was the whole team . . One player go to the locker room and don't come out till game is over or you will never play another game for me . Yes parents need to talk to children but coaches and administrators have to hold kids more accountable for their actions .

East has been struggling early last year first game struggled for three quarters

Everyone has their opinion . I was only talking about district though and AA not AAA. I could be wrong but I think maplewood and whites creek came down there and won their games too lazy to go look lol . Should be a good tournament

Well obviously Mitchell in single A . AA has to be most competitive with whites creek and maplewood primed to make a run . Probably play in the toughest district in AA. AAA I would say Oak Ridge has to be toughest competition for East

Maplewood will have to play well on defense tonight and be hitting their free throws tonight to win . Their loss the other night they were 16:32 from the line . Not what championship teams do . Two games would love to watch this one and mount Juliet and Indy . Two best in this area

Thanks it is hard up here but we lost our best player to a prep school this past year that hurt . One of our sophomores got kicked off for a bad decision . He was starting . Those coaches do a lot and our style is fun to play . Next year will most likely be more fun without a real post presence . The coaches won't stay their forever if allowed to be head coach a lot of fire kids just need to get smarter and taller lol .

That's illegal but heard the big kid at ensworth was transferring there . Not good news for us .

How long since your last state trip . It's been awhile for my Beech boys you know that where I am an alum . So shocked they never made it to another state title game since we made it to the finals when I played . I like their new coach I would say he overachieved this year not much talent to go as far as they did

Yea I think we are trying to play the best AAA schools and quick athletic teams since we play in the worst district and then have to play toughest region in AA East Nashville would beat most teams at state but they were odd team out . We don't believe in playing cupcakes early doesn't make us better . It paid off this year but playing maplewood without your leading scorer and best ball handler killed us . Maybe one day which next year is the year everyone had pointed to for it to happen . My opinion last year team over achieved and this team under achieved . 3 years ago when we arrived only 5 wins . We improved everywhere hopefully next year we can be like you all and get to sectionals with a chance at the glass house .

Hopefully you are right keep saying it enough it might actually happen .

It was not that packed for whites creek maplewood final

Saw this team play just after Christmas and said this team would not make it out of that tough district/ region . Then midway Murphy just took over beat a great Summit team . I believe twice them best Brentwood . Not sure if he is getting any help but this kid is now playing like a freshman in college going to be hard to stop . When he stops they stop .!good luck coach Allen history is not on your side but eventually you have to win one of these games . Lets hope I don't want to hear MJ cry .

Exactly I guess I should have clarified all # 1 seeds in region tournaments were district champs only 26/48 advanced to sectionals . 8/16 A 9/16. AA 9/16 AAA. I say out of the 24 teams that advance to Murfreesboro will be lucky to see 12 /26 make it there

In A. AA. AAA this year in regional tournaments . 48 # 1 seeds . 2 in each region . Out of those 48 only 26 are still playing . That means 22 are at home for the year . Pretty crazy . My question to you is out of 26 left how many make it to the glass house . ??

MJsays that all the time never happens . they in the sweet 16 but can they make it to the elite 8 in glass house . Very favorable match ups for them only team I felt they didn't match up well was Summit . They lost but if I was MJ I wouldn't want to play Independence . Murphy on a mission to get to Murfree . Well i heard how great a coach MJ coach is . the only way they don't make state is bad coaching . Just my opinion . You beat a great Springfield team then knock off #1 Lebanon . You have a 3 seed now in Clarksville NE . So first region championship in how long MJ?

Let me correct myself on Key I was thinking of another player . Thinking he was a big white guy didn't realize he was a point guard . That changes everything , GP does not have anyone that can play man on him ., well coach will have some junk defense for him I guess ., Me personally I X him from this game . He doesn't tiouch the ball and if then he is doubled immediately., someone else is beating me . Try to keep him under 15 and have a chance to win .

Sports fan . Don't know the coach but good for you defending him . Best coaches in the country get attacked all the time over time they get that thick skin . It's part of the job .,always going to have those few who like to attack people . Most parents always think they know better than the coaches . All they see are the games . Not their everyday watching practices and everything else that goes on . Yes coaches get out coached all the time but those same coaches outcoach the same coaches down the road . Bottom line their will always be coaches their will always be attackers and always be defenders . We got all that in one thread pretty good . Now how does goodpasture beat clay co. Won't be easy stopping the scoring machine . Goodpasture has one kid that can match up with him . Actually coached him his 7th and 8th grade years . Great kid very unselfish actually to unselfish . Knowing the coach he probably run a gimmick defense it worked against the big kid for whites creek for a half . I believe just man up and just give help when he gets the ball . Offense they just need to push the ball and hope they get hot from 3 . Most likely their only chance . Wish I was there . Nobody carries the game do they .?
