i know alot of things can happen by not wearing a face mask, when i was little i used to watch my sister play for the nighthawks, one of the girls on the other team was bunting and the ball knocked out all her teeth and her braces, i watched her dad hold her teeth in his hands as the ambulance came. it has to hurt, but that is a risk she was willing to take, i think it really should be up to the players and their parents if as individuals they want to wear the face mask or not, as a player i dislike them, it makes it harder to see when batting. i know everyone will say that safety is over batting average, but that depends on the person. if the player comes to play hard and plays to win then they might take the chance of an injury, again it should just be up to that player/parent. if you wanted to get rid of injuries, you wouldnt be able to play the game of softball, think about it, look how close third, pitcher, and first base is to the batter, there would be no stealing, no sliding, no diving, nothing. its a risk with the game, i understand little kids, but once you are in high school and you can make the decision yourself and also what ever your parents say, thats what you should do

thanks, well everyone knows the third baseman ofcorse and also their shortstop has signed a scholarship to columbia state, no one really knows them, but i think that they have hidden talent that hasn't been shown yet, but will shine this season

like i said at the very beginning of the season...siegel to state they wont lose one starter next year and im saying they get there again, especially if they just keep wprking hard and as a team you cant say they wouldnt have an offence without brittney winn...b/c if you didnt have hayley sloan, kim conrad, and paige prescott you wouldnt have an offence either...they work hard and play as a team and help each other out to get where they are today, brittney winn is an amazing player, but so is hayley sloan, together they make a great duo, without one its not as strong, thats how a TEAM is....

i have to agree that they control the second half of the game, which is very good, but once they can learn to play like that the entire length of the game is when they will not be able to be stopped, but i still have faith in them and its only the beginning of the season they have amaizng players and a lot of potential for this year and the next few years

i know siegel lost 2-1 tonight but it was an amazing game to watch and it doesnt change my opionin at all

i really cant wait to watch in about two years when winn miller anna grace are seniors and sloan conrad and trollinger are juniors...adding even more experience to the team and i think they will definitly dominate then i have to agree defense for siegel isnt the best, and defense is very important, but as longa s the forwards and wings can get the job done and keep it on the right side of the field things will work out fine

MOST of them mean well...not all know what they're talking about ofcorse i feel their pain being a member of a team who last year had great players but couldnt put it together and be consistant like we should have been, its just hard work and practice, they can achieve it if they keep trying

yea but i think they can get past them just from the first time they played tullahoma i know it was only like 40 min but if they keep working hard and keep spirits up i have faith in them

i think alot of teams are forgetting siegel they only had one player leave and everyone else returned and added a few very very good freshman

this year i think every team should watch out for siegel high school with a hard loss of foward junior katie kittrell who sustained an injury tearing her acl, mcl, and lateral meniscus. but new freshman hayley sloan and brittney winn playing foward together is quite amazing as well, they play together so well it makes any defence tremble. and dont forget to think about kim conrad who subs in for both of them and then paige prescott and brittany miller on the field. this team has amazing speed, agility, enthusiasm, and the ability to win. and they will win. i say siegel goes all the way this year.

tonights game against siegel and lebanon was amazing, anyone who wasnt there sure missed out. fifth inning lebanon led 2-0 sixth inning game tied 2-2 bottom of the seventh, two outs, monica west and megan williams on base, full count, sami mccampbell has a great hit and drives both of them in for the win.

and the score ended up being... riverdale-9 siegel-0

siegels freshman pitcher is kristen parker, and she did amazing during the riverdale siegel game, even though she pitched mostly change ups..thats what was needed to keep the ball inside the park
