It applies to the private schools. It puts them in A, AA, or AAA..........# of students decide which division you play in. Private schools, with all of their advantages, like recruiting, have to multiply their # of students.................which will probably move them up a division. That particular person just wants Peabody to move up as well.

Actually, yes, I would have said the same thing about the girls. I see where you are coming from. I just want to make it clear that even IF they don't bring home the gold ball, I will STILL be proud of them. I don't think you understand what I'm saying. I know they CAN win this if they put their minds to it. My point was that if they bring home the gold ball or not, they ARE a great team and have A LOT to be proud of. To lose at this point would not constitute being the "loser" in my book because these final four teams are all GREAT! I want them to bring it home, but if not.....I won't be the one to say, "dang, if they'd just done this or if that hadn't happened".....etc. I am proud of them and the gold ball will not change that. I agree that you should always set your goals high and expect the best out of people. But I also believe that if you express disappointment for NOT reaching the VERY TOP (1st place), you are selling yourself short. (and them) I believe in our program and I have more "tidepride" than you are giving me credit for. GO TIDEMEN GO!

Wow.........I think this is the only post where I actually agree with you. At this point I am satisfied with where Peabody is. I would love to see them play in the championship game and bring home the gold, but if a loss happens before that......they have so much to be proud of and everyone here feels the same way.

OMG................do I even want to go there? LC should have won when it counted most......teams should get better as the season goes on. I'm not saying that LC is not a good team, they are. They just didn't win when it counted the most. And by the way, Doaks isn't the ONLY good player on their team. I believe Yancy, Brown, Ramsey, Ashburn, Fields and Miller all made a huge impact in the Regional championship against LC, don't you think?

Can't do it can you? You can't just give a congratulations without "analyzing" everything in your opinion. It really doesn't matter what your game was like two months ago, it only matters what it's like right here, right now. Being the "analyst" that you are, you should know that. Being the fan I am, I have to mention that I just saw some clips on the local evening news and we looked GREAT! There was a cool pass between a Unaka player's legs......hehe and yes, it showed Doaks' dunk...........no walk! There was a ref RIGHT there and he agreed with me! Who is DCA? I see that name rated as #1 on the coacht homepage with Peabody being 2nd. I've not even heard of them, who are they and why are they picked as #1?

Well, my opinion is that if you don't have the talent, you just don't have the talent and a coach cannot change that. On the other side ....you may have talent, but if your coach doesn't know what to do with it you're probably not going to reap the rewards of that talent. It's obvious that Peabody has both the talented players and a coach that knew what to do with that talent and they came out on top........bringing home the Gold Ball and the 2005 State Champion Title.
