I like Mac . But if that was his thinking, he was flat wrong. I think this year bears that out.

Vandy, I agree on system & execution. But don't try to make me believe you don't have athletes. We haven't had a Santiago just to name one. And we certainly don't have someone playing at UT. And there are others. Another private might buy you don't have athletes, but not many in Lewisburg will. Athletes + System + Coaching + Execution = Really Good Football Team

For a while MC was right there with Lipscomb. Several close games between the two. Lately, DL has had better overall athletes & has dominated. Right coach & this could be a program that can be a quarterfinal or higher contender more times than not. Don't think the two you mentioned though would come here.

I'm always amazed that more people outside of Lewisburg seem to know a whole lot more than those who live here. Why is that ?

Creek Wood was terrible when we saw them. Terrible. I was really disappointed considering how good they were last year. I don't seem them staying close to Spring Hill. Of course, I didn't see Page staying close to Spring Hill either, so take my two cents worth with a grain of salt. Bulldog I'll be very suprised if Spring Hill doesn't win & make the playoffs, along with Cheatham County. I think the Tigers & Patriots are on the outside looking in this year. Wait til next year !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Spring Hill is a whole lot better than Creek Wood. They should win big.

Because I've been perfect for the last three !!! I told BC his Cheatham County Cubs & Spring Hill were going to win out going into week eight. Nothing that has happened makes me want to change my mind. Even if is not in the best interest of my Tigers.

BC, are you saying that if Creek Wood defeats Spring Hill, we're in , win or lose Friday at Giles County ? If so, that's one of the craziest things I've heard. Take MC out of the equation for a moment. Cheatham defeats Page and Spring Hill defeats Creek Wood, ( which by the way is going to happen ). Now what happens with a MC win or a MC loss ? I've got a headache.

It's official, clock will be kept by two former referees ( both from Lewisburg) on a Timex stopwatch in the upper level of the pressbox. To oversee the process & make sure there are no shenigans, a member of the Lipscomb radio crew will be invited to observe. You all get to choose among yourselves. As far as all that other stuff, hey, that's what makes high school football the great sport it is. By the way, kickoff is set for 7:00 and our coach will have us on the field in plenty of time. Oh yeah, what's the big snub? Haven't heard that one before.

Bayron just a heads up. Our scoreboard clock is on the blink. I think the high winds got it Monday. Anyway, there is a better than even chance that the clock will be run either manually or by a stopwatch.
