  1. If by "finding talent" you mean having a tiny workout facility with a killer strength coach who pushes the boys to compete then yeah we find talent. Get in the weight room. You can "find" some talent too. Hope that helps.
  2. Agreed. I'm thinking we're going to be a more balanced offense. With more passing.
  3. The Nashville Christian 2016 page is up and going. NCS folks where are you?
  4. Defense will still be fast. #11 will move to LB, #27 and #28 took a big step up as starters this year at LB and S. They'll both be seniors next year and will lead that team.
  5. No one yet. Were he eligible this past year, he would've had a real chance to take the starting position. He's good. Both of the main RBs for next year will be 1000 yard rushers unless held back by the coaches. There will be at least two more RBs added to the mix. The line will be affected by the seiors leaving, but we have some up and coming guys there who will garner interest from colleges. #76 being chief among them. Just opinions. Nothing etched in stone. You can't control what colleges want. You can only prepare yourself. Get stronger, faster, watch film and become a better player.
  6. Losing 15 seniors will be hard for any 1A school and NCS is no exception. I'm looking forward to seeing #8 eligible after sitting out a year finally getting to sling the rock. The development of the young guys in the weight room and in track. Next season has already begun. Let's go!
  7. The future is now and the focus is on the 2016 season, the players, the coaches, the training, new strategies and where the kids (2016 grads included) are committing for college.
  8. NCS guys, you see where this thread is headed. Let's not have more shots at #50. Don't get dragged into the public/private argument that folks on this thread seem to like so much. Let's agree to either compliment the players of both teams or just let people spout off. It's time to move on.
  9. They will. The Greenback QB is quite good and throws a mean slant. Their line is good. They will take a bunch of midrange and long shots down the field and their receivers catch the ball. We will have to shut down the amount of time the QB has to throw th ball.
  10. My bad, but no can do. As addictive as this can be I've got work and a family. You guys are obviously in your mancaves with clothes from two days ago on, beer cans all around the room, shooing the kids and wives away as you giggle and type.
  11. Not a good example. All of those guys either HAVE BEEN or WILL BE in the NFL. So you actually proved his point. Those guys did project to the NFL and will go.
  12. +1 And that's what it takes to compete. Will, speed, weights endurance. People look at advantages. There are always going to be advantages. Are you willing to work for what you want?
  13. Let it go. You know full well dumbazzedness is in the bible. Modern translation of course.
  14. +1 We are all glad to be here and on Friday everybody laces em up for a hard fought game.
  15. All of those years were South Pittsburg, not Greenback.
  16. We ARE enjoying it!! Can't you tell?? Revenge of the sweatervests!! Kazipit
  17. Regarding the offense, they're slow and stand around. Haha just kidding
  18. 28 oh yeah that's the one that hurdled the guy standing on the video. I remember him, he is good.
  19. Here it is rare that a kid is sent away because the acdemics were too hard. Not because they are easy but we care about the well being of the student more. Sending kids away because of academic failure gives you the illusion of rigor while forcing kids to believe they are stupid and unable to complete your program. Both of those are fallacies and part of a design that no longer has merit. Reputation is an illusion. Education is about taking a curriculum and making it digestable and palatable. Kids should want what you're producing. If they don't, you can't always blame the kid. Especially after you've used him for 4 years for sports. ijs
