Who everyone got tonight?? Any upsets or just going to hold true??? Beech @ Gallatin - hmm prob the most even game of the night. Which of these two teams going to try to make move up to the top tier of the district. Got this feeling Gallatin going to get it done tonight but we shall see Wilson Central @ Lebanon - got lebanon by double digits even though wilson central obviously much better then most predicted. Mt. Juliet @ portland - Mt. Juliet by 15 .... Will portland win a district game this year??? not looking like it......Will carney still be coaching next year??? Hendersonville @ Station Camp--- Should be a blow out, but wont be because just not station camp style to do that i dont guess. So im sure hendersonville will hang around surprisingly...... and end up losing by 12-16 Not very good games this friday night, might go to the beech game

Who was he there to watch??? And thats hard for me to believe that he doesn't even know who one of the leading scorers in the state is , in his own backyard. So i am guessing he was messing with you !!

District Standings Going into tonight 1) Cheatham County 5-1 2) White House 5-2 3) Harpeth 5-2 4) Westmoreland 5-2 5) White House Heritage 2-5 6) Sycamore 2-5 7) Greenbrier 0-7 Who ya got in tonight's games? Harpeth @ Cheatham - Last time these two teams played it was a three point game at the end. I am not from the area of cheatham county. Guessing this is a rivalry game kind of like Beech/Station Camp or Wilsion Central/Mt. Juliet. I still think douglass and the post player for cheatham will just be to much for harpeth. I think it will be close though single digit game. Sycamore @ Westmoreland- Westmoreland been on a little slide, but got a nice home win against heritage other night. Never know what Matt brown going to do. Westmoreland being at home I feel will win this game, but is my upset pick of the night- Sycamore by 2 White House @ Greenbrier - Can't see White House losing this game. If it gets down in the 50s greenbrier will have a shot , but if game gets over 60 , White House wins. Any word on make up games from the snow days??

AA-Got to be a player or two from west tennessee. But Middle Tennessee only two players come to mind Austin Douglass from Cheatham and Bo Hodges from Maplewood.

Well last night wrapped up the first half of district play .... Sycamore beat greenbrier - didn't see the box score just heard that they won anyone know how many Brown had ? White House beat westmoreland - I was at this basketball game , and westmoreland started out up by like 4 then White House went on a like 15-0 run then it was westmoreland trying to catch up mode .... Which they did .. #1 for White House played prob 3 minutes in first half due to foul trouble ...Give westmoreland some credit first time I saw them all year ... They are well coached and do what they can do ... Just seemed they could never get the lead or would get a possession down then White House would go on a run ... White House shot really good free throws ... Cheatham beat WH-Heritage - heard this game was close at half with heritage in the lead .... Guess douglass just ended up being to much for the patriots ... As he has been for most teams Cheatham has played .. District standings after first time through .... Thoughts ?!? 1) Cheatham 5-1 (loss to west) 2) White House 4-2 (lost to sycamore /Cheatham) 3) Harpeth 4-2 (lost to Cheatham/White House ) 4) Westmoreland 4-2 (lost to harpeth / White House) 5) White House - Heritage 2-4 (beat sycamore /greenbrier) 6) Sycamore 2-4 ( beat white house / greenbrier ) 7) Greenbrier 0-6

At the conclusion of this week not just tonight I think we will all maybe either get answers to the top teams or be even more anybody's regular season championship. With the tournament being at heritage, tonight could be a night to show that they can beat anyone in that gym during the tournament. Thing is heritage home record in this district is not very good. I think cheatham wins this game, but not a blow out. Greenbrier and Sycamore should be an interesting game. Just feel brown about to get sycamore their second victory. White House vs. Westmoreland - Very interesting game as I said in earlier post westy could be on a slide with 3 district losses in one week. I got White House in this game in their own gym. If the scoring gets up in the 60s I think westmoreland's chances diminish.

Coach Luna is doing a great job with his seniorless bunch !! Might be something to reckon with next year and in the tournament this year. Not a team the higher seed would want to play !! I have to agree with Bomber here. Station camp just seems like they are toying around with everyone. Its like they almost purposefully give these teams hope. They are perfectly fine with a 5 point lead the whole game , when i feel they could easily put some of these teams away and make it easy on themselves. I just can't put my finger on it, but lets just say they should be a lot more fun to watch then they are, but hard to criticize undefeated haha.....But still a team that has never played in the state tourney ever so to think they just going to make it there and win it is a little bit of an outreach.

Interesting night Tuesday Night!! I did not attend any of the games. I was at the Lebanon/Gallatin game.... Looked like White House went into harpeth ready to score putting up 80. Douglas with another 40 , no surprise Heritage with a good win at Greenbrier. Looked like they just let greenbrier hang around by looks of the boxscore..... Who does everyone have tomorrow night i believe the games are: Cheatham @ Greenbrier - Cheatham Westmoreland @ Harpeth - Interesting match up. Will harpeth bounce back and give westmoreland their first loss in district. Thats a long drive for westmoreland.... Heritage @ Sycamore - Another chance for Heritage to prove they can work their way back to the top. I like heritage in this game, but really just depends on if they can stop Brown. Still anyone's district to be had I believe. The top 2/3 teams should start to separate themselves over these next two weeks if it is ever going to happen!! I got cheatham over sycamore by double digits I think White House vs. Harpeth will be a good game. Harpeth being at home is an advantage. If the Blue Devils ever going to live up to some people on here's pre-season predictions tonight would be the night to prove it. I think this is a 5 point game either team could win and set themselves up for a chance to be 1 or 2 in the district Heritage vs. Greenbrier in a battle of the district winless teams. Greenbrier is a scary team here lately as you said NEW BLue they have played some people tough , but also lost to some weak A teams. I will take greenbrier at home in a close one, unless heritage decides to actually play to their potential .....But haven't seen that all year in any game that I have seen. WEstmoreland has a tough stretch of games coming up in the district. They can either be for real or be right back in the middle of pack after these two weeks All and all a pretty even district this year I believe and should make for some good games and an exciting tournament looking forward to seeing them all play !!

Should be a great game tonight between lebanon and Station Camp. I haven't seen lebanon play in person all year. Thinking I might need to come down to the Camp tonight to see it. I just feel Station Camp is too good at every position. Even though Whites Creek gave them one of their toughest games all year. I see them handling business tonight with a 7-12 point victory any other district games worth a watch tonight?

Hello All, Hope everyone had a good christmas break !! Sorry for my absence my laptop got a virus ( All teams seemed to have interesting christmas tournaments. Heritage won some games, but lets be TRUTHFUL the competition wasn't very good. White House did have whites creek beat for 3 quarters, but still to me the most inconsistent team I have seen play. They can beat anyone or lose to anyone. Not a team I would want to play anytime this post-season. Sycamore and Harpeth just chugging along it seems.... Westmoreland the team I am interested in the second half of district play. I saw them play in their christmas tournament. They literally look like the same team I saw this summer and they are what they are, no better and no worse. Cheatham will be looking to put its finishing touches on another district title this year IMO, but thats why they play the games. Greenbrier has some young talent thats for sure , look for them to maybe upset a middle of the pack team this second half of district schedule. INntriguing game of the district has to be Harpeth at Heritage tonight !! Has to be a toss up with heritage playing at home. Can anyone confirm that the District Tournament will be at WH-Heritage this year???? NewBlue what do you consider young? Juniors? Because I don't think heritage is playing freshmen and sophomores are they? Since I am on that topic is there any other freshman playing for any of the teams or just White House who played 3 freshman in the last two games of their christmas tourney at Beech?

The standings will look much like they look right now for the rest of the year.....TRUTH Station Camp I still feel is the best team, but Lebanon might have players to get them once in the possible 4 times they might play this year. Just looking at the teams and how its shaping up, might be better to be the 2 seed this year because IMO the bottom 5 teams are all similar and will beat each other up besides terrible pitiful portland and Hendersonville. Have yet to see Wilson Central and Lebanon this year......Need to check them out who do they play tomorrow night?

I know I am about 50% this year on my truths in this forum :/ Hendersonville is down this year but a 9-AAA win always a good win for a AA team.....TRUTH I will have to agree that the teams are seemingly pretty equal, could be one of those years that you need to protect your home court want any chance at the regular season title......TRUTH That could be huge this year since the 1st place regular season team gets a bye to the region which could pay off big time since the district this year I have heard is no longer on a "neutral" vol state court......TRUTH I feel I shouldn't make any predictions either , but I will with no Truths Westmoreland vs. Greenbrier ----HMMM almost will bet money this game will be a race to 50 points ....TRUTH Westmoreland should win though even though Greenbrier has had a better district showing then most expected..... Cheatham @ White House----A must win for cheatham IMO if they wanna win the district outright. I got White House at home where the schedule says they are 3-1. Where is the White House-Heritage Game NewBlue?? Could be a determining factor of who wins that game. I feel will be another toss up 5 point game.

hahaha welcome back guru have missed reading your analysis....TRUTH and your right wasn't so good predicting except didn't have a truth after westmoreland and heritage because I didn't know and I think Brown had like 28 which was my exception in my truth so not too too far off.... I have Cheatham as well tonight, but as you said in your post who really knows Westmoreland has performed well this year against teams with one star player... Cheatham, Portland, Hendersonville (Before footballers) and so on so I think they will more than likely beat sycamore in a close one but never know..... White House will win tonight at Home, especially if game is above 55.......TRUTH And Heritage will lose tonight at Hendersonville.....TRUTH

Interesting my truths were slacking last week. Even though I guess i called the Matt Brown 25+ was only way for sycamore to beat white house Harpeth score was surprising, but was a low scoring affair. Who plays who this week??

Why Everyone being quiet now???? I guess I was 50% on my truths for Tuesday and also forgot about the harpeth sycamore game. But in saying that here are the Standings as of now in district 9-AA. 1) Westmoreland 1-0 (after beating cheatham at the buzzer ) Continue to show they are the real deal !! 1) Harpeth 1-0 after beating Sycamore @ sycamore Tuesday night 1) White House 1-0 after beating Heritage @ heritage Tuesday night 4) Cheatham county 0-1 4) Heritage 0-1 4) Sycamore 0-1 5) Greenbrier only team to not have played a district game yet!! District Games this Friday, who ya got?? Westmoreland @ WH-Heritage - I feel will be another close game. Just feel heritage is due a win and playing at home an advantage. Greenbrier @ Harpeth - I got harpeth winning this one by double digits...TRUTH White House @ Sycamore- I got White House winning this one by ten, unless that man Matt Brown has a fantastic 25+ night.......TRUTH

TRUTH..... to your first statement. Please don't refer to me as "ya'll" when talking about station camp. Didn't go there, don't like them, never have liked them just speaking what I believe as .....TRUTHS Sorry our definition of underachieved is different then mine because basketball is a tournament sport, and what you do night in and night out doesn't really mean anything except for maybe getting better or positioning yourself for tournament basketball..... Who wins the games when the losers go to spring sports, not play later in the week is what people remember..... TRUTH Speaking of brentwood I don't think it was ALL coaching when they took Hamilton to the buzzer with supposedly the two big time players Hamilton had...... TRUTH Not defending Station Camp in anyway I do agree that for some reason they do not dominate like they should since they are literally better at every position and 6-9 on the bench then most teams they play.

Just a few things : TA is a wonderful coach we will all see as they get better and better as the year goes on this is December .....TRUTH Haven't seen Lebanon play, but through reading and seeing other things I'm sure athletic and different type of pressure then other teams in district ..... Beech will be where they been since no chamberlains on the court ...... TRUTH Wilson central , Portland , Gallatin down this year ....... TRUTH Hendersonville ..... Haven't seen since footballers returned ..... Station Camp best and deepest team in district ...... TRUTH And under achieved last year if talking about station camp is foolish .....let's not forget they lost their sub-state game to a team who had literally a "shot" to hold up the gold ball last year ....... TRUTH

B52- I had heard that white house had a bad shooting night in their own gym, and still had various opportunities to win the game had they made some open looks or lay-ups in the last quarter. Harpeth has played better than most probably would have expected. They are well coached and very fundamental......TRUTH NEWBLUE- Hard to compare those Springfield games. Pretty sure both White House Heritage and Springfield played their last football game on 11/20 and played that game on 11/24. Most of Springfield's best players are footballers....TRUTH Should be a great rivalry game in the best gym in the region, and honestly White House Heritage should host either district or region....TRUTH I have seen both teams play multiple times this year....White House has a huge advantage at the PG position, and overall team shooting. Heritage has better post offense.....TRUTH My prediction: If the winning team scores over 55 points then White House will win, if the game is below that White House Heritage will win.....TRUTH

District 9-AA from what I have seen will have a lot of mediocre records this year with most of the teams being slow down, bore you to sleep type basketball they will be trying to play. Prob why none, but cheatham in IDK how many years have actually won a region game...TRUTH Douglas obviously the best player in the district, and they are the only champ ever of this 9-AA so they are the favorite.......TRUTH The District Games for tomorrow i believe is as follows....Who ya got ?!?! Tuesday 12/8 Cheatham @ Westmoreland - I have cheatham even though I feel westmoreland will make a game of it as they have done all year, but competing and winning are two very different things....TRUTH White House @ White House Heritage - battle of the hometown teams. I have seen both teams play. Most rivalry games on any level doesn't really matter who has played better then who to this point, but who is better on that night ....TRUTH In this case White House is better, and Wins.
