  1. Webster should have moved this game to tonight. Won’t be alot of people braving the rain on Friday
  2. Watertown is young as well. 3 seniors and 3 juniors and only 2 of those are in the regular rotation. They work over the summer and they should be back again next year. But first they have to handle their business today
  3. It’s a bit of a dogfight and a bit of so-so officials. I will say that I think the teams are even and the girls are giving their all every point. some of the calls have been questionable at best for both sides and not just the judgement calls. I mean the in/out touch calls. Loretto pulls it out in 5. Great match and hopefully a preview of the final. I have to leave for a basketball meeting so I will not be able to watch the last game.
  4. You’re right about that Hickman Co. game. 1st set was very rough for Watertown but after that they focused and left no doubt. Loretto is a different story. Probably the only team that Watertown played that is on their level is Lebanon. Watertown’s lack of power will come to light in this match and they will struggle but you never know. Either way I think the Semi-final is a preview of the Final tomorrow, Watertown vs Loretto
  5. Memphis East is just a bad team. That part of the state must not have any Volleyball. I have saw junior high and jv teams that could beat them. I cannot even count the number of balls they just let fall to the court without moving. I am excited for the next match. I am thinking this should definitely be the game of the day in the Single A side.
  6. I am going tomorrow and will be at MTSU watching the A & AA matches. Should be a good day of action.
  7. See screenshot for schools with more than 20% change
  8. That’s less than 20% decrease not more than.
  9. Read some of these posts about the qb. I’m on to Smith County but I think this team will still make it to the Finals. Never thought I would say the road to State is going through little old Watertown but here we are. Let’s pack the stands and bring the noise
  10. Oh well. At the end of the day this is high school football. These kids will remember this season regardless. We as adults should not be trashing any of them. Let’s just root them on and support them as a community
  11. Guys and gals. We are going to need to be able to throw the ball in the playoffs. As good as Price is, he is not a QB. maybe sprinkling in some wildcat is good but against good teams you cannot run that for a whole game. Webster may not be the best QB but he’s decent and with our Defense and running game we can do big things. Trust the process.
  12. I agree with that and to be honest I was not pumped about last night’s game either. I knew it would be a walkover just like everyone else. I think Webster used it as a glorified scrimmage to get Bryce going. I think another factor is fall break. That throws them out of their normal routine. And we all know how much routine plays into everyone’s habits
  13. Do y’all actually think that Webster will bench his son in his senior year? He may be a coach but he’s a father first. Plus Bill Robinson’s grandson. I hate to say it but I just don’t see it happening. We’re going to have to win or lose with what we had last night.
  14. Watertown is pretty good. They won 3-1 but should have won in 3. They had multiple unforced errors in a set and got down. Almost came back but ultimately lost 25-27. They have a shot at winning a couple at state but of course that depends on the draw. Watertown’s outside hitters are pretty solid. I did notice tonight that the official’s were not on the top of their game. Mutiple missed calls on both sides. I think the officials that you draw in state is just as important as the opponents
  15. We beat them 52-7. so there was not much offense or defense going on for them that game. I assume you are a Hartsville fan, you guys should not have any issue with them even if you run the offense the same way ya'll ran it last week. With the defense your team has, TC should not lose another regular season game.
  16. I enjoy your posts. I am an official so I don’t really have a team but enjoy watching the game. I plan on going to the Watertown Vs Columbia Academy match on Thursday. I will make a post about how it goes.
  17. Just walked in. It’s not bad right now. Probably about 100 people. But we’re 1:15 away from kickoff
  18. Enter John Kerr Field in your GPS and it will take you right there.
  19. JacketNation, Does Trousdale accept TACA cards at the pass gate or will I need to get me a ticket?
  20. Thing is once the playoffs start you need a QB that can throw the ball reliably. Heath is a decent QB but he lacks zip on his ball. If we get behind I don’t believe we can rely on his arm to lead a comeback. Also, he can drive defenses crazy being out wide. They have to pick their poison between Heath and D-Ray. It’s impossible to stop both of them. I think this is a special team. I am usually a pessimistic person but this team has a look that I have never saw a Watertown team have. They have speed and power. Both offensive and defensive lines are grinders. We could have a more than historic year for our little town.
  21. Me too. Should be a knockdown drag out affair. It will feel funny being there without the Tigers though
  22. Due to an unfortunate accident the small community of Watertown will have a rough week. The game on Friday will be the least of most of these kids concerns. Please keep us in your prayers
  23. Watertown big. Westmoreland cannot keep up with the Tiger offense. Another running clock in the second half game
  24. Since this is an even numbered year, If Watertown wins out, they will have homefield throughout until Cookeville
