I honestly think it comes down to the more discipline team. Emotions will be running high. It's the biggest game of the season/year. Whichever teams holds their composure and remains poise through tough situations will have the upper hand. Position/Skill wise I have this here: Offense - Pearl Defense - East D Line/O Line - Tie Special Teams - Pearl Secondary - East RB's - East LB's - East QB - Pearl Coaching - Tie I think and still believe East is going win this game!

East Nashville wins this game Friday night! Pearl-Cohn is finally out matched. PC has always had the better athletes, but not this go around. East Nashville has a potent offense that gives defensive coordinators headaches. The last time these two teams were equality matched was 5 years go when East Nashville beat Pearl at Vanderbilt - Pearl had KeShawn Vaughn and East had Isiah Upton (one of best game in metro history). East has the better athletes this year and Pearl's defense couldn't stop ANYONE! Fans better come early! You can always count on Upperman's program to make noise every season. You can never count those girls out!

Maplewood is projected to have one the most talented teams in the state. They have a ton of height and athletic ability. They have had a bunch transfers from Hillsboro, McGavock, and surrounding Nashville areas come into their girls program the past couple years. Which should be a red flag for TSSAA. They're in the same district (or region - not sure) as East & Pearl Cohn who has dominate the past 4 seasons. They don't lack skill at all - Be on the look out for these girls to make a run!

South Greene and Cumberland Co. lost last night. My initial post to start this thread, I had neither in my Top 5. Their level of competition and strength of schedule has always been suspect in their district. Great season from both programs to say the least. I'm almost certain Kia Upton is healthy. I watched her against Maplewood last Friday. 9AA can never match up with 10AA athletic ability. District 10AA is the toughest district in AA. Top 4 teams have D1 with basketball players, size, and abilities to defend multiple positions. Maplewood is the team to watch post season and of course East and Pearl.
