Tonight's game against Houston County and Community was one for the books. Great defense played by Houston County, but not enough offense to beat Community. Good teams win playing their style, but great teams find various ways to win. Community won that game due to heart and pride. Hope to see them step closer to the gold ball in a couple days.

Pierce needs around 80 points to hit 2,000. Viqueens will show MTCS one more time who is the best in the district.

It is amazing how politics have taken over high school basketball. The MVP for District 9-A is clear as day. Community has owned the district for three years not MTCS. Therefore you go with Communiy's leader for MVP. Hard to argue against that. What will be sad is when someone up for Miss Basketball doesn't even win District MVP.
