  1. I wonder who the other kid was. hhhhhhmmmmm............
  2. I will also go with Farragut on this one by a few goals. Farragut plays so fast, I don't think Maryville can keep up. Maryville better be ready to play a very quick and physical 80 minutes of soccer. FHS-4 MHS-0.
  3. Correct me if I'm wrong, but if you are a private school and you give out scholarships for sports, I think you have to be in D2.
  4. I would just like to comment that this is probably the longest thread that I have ever seen and myself and everyone else posting here are off topic.
  5. Ok, I don't really know much about JPII but I'll take your word for it. Catholic does have a very good defense.
  6. Do you realize you just posted nothing and quoted yourself 3 times? Anyway, Farragut has some very fast players, like Austin Rhodes and Corey Hilton.
  7. Catholic is playing some of the best soccer in the state right now. Lately, they have been rolling over teams left and right. I wouldn't be surprised if they won it all in D2 this year.
  8. Neither can I. At the end of the game, Chelsea had an excellent chance to score on a corner kick. I think it was Gudjohnsen who had a volley that went wide life, and there was no one there to put it in. Overall though, Chelsea had many chances to score and should've taken the game in my opinion.
  9. The number of teams you play doesn't determine how hard your opponent is. Good job on being undefeated so far though! thumb
  10. CAK is losing 1 senior who is out right now due to an acl injury. Everyone else is returning.
  11. That is a tough schedule, and Science Hill is a talented team. I think they should be ranked right around where they are.
  12. CAK-4 White House-1 CAK played a somewhat sloppy game in the first half, and picked it up a little in the second. The field was VERY slippery, as both teams were sliding all over the field. CAK scored its first goal on a shot to the left of the pk spot in the first half by Tarr. In the second half, Davis hit a shot from 35-40 yds or more out that went over the keeper. Davis scored again on an almost impossible angle and then White House scored on a volley near the 18 or so. Burnette then scored for CAK which sealed the game. White House pushed the long ball most of the game and they had a few chances but couldn't finish.
  13. Yeah, it is fun and very quick with lots of goals. But as posted above, it is nothing like soccer on the field.
  14. This is probably the third thread I've seen in the past month about bad refs. You ARE going to get bad refs, there is nothing you can do about it, so just let it go. thumb
  15. In the off-season, I just play in a league with guys from school against other schools. It's not club team or anything.
  16. Is Boyd Buchanan really that good? I have never seen them play and nobody really seems to talk about them much.
  17. Whoever starts at left midfield for Science Hill, I can't remember his number. This guy is very quick and has great foot skills.
  18. I'm gonna go with Science Hill also. I have seen both of them play, and I think that Science Hill has a little more talent and ability than Catholic does. Shoud be a hard fought 80 minutes. Is it at Knox Catholic or Science Hill?
  19. Dude, get a grip, somebody just posted about competition and all of a sudden you decide to just go off on him. He never posted anything about you so I don't see what you got all worked up about.
  20. Is "back tackling" even a legal move in soccer?? It sure doesn't sound like it is.
