I don't really think this has anything to do with anyone beating Oakland or not and the last time I checked Riverdale beat the Owls last year. When a fan is pounding their chest telling everyone that their team is going to be great but cant name one reason why or one player that is a difference maker I find that a little rah rah. Humble opinions don't make press. Give me some facts, some names, some stand outs on why you think the Owls will be improved otherwise I could just ask the cheerleaders...

I don't think you will nearly have the same result as last year with Riverdale. They are very heavy laden senior team with two addition 5star transfers on defense and one of the top 5 star receivers in the country in Bond. The new offense put in by the new OC, Kelly Holcomb former NFL QB and the weight training program instill by the new head coach will put a stronger faster Riverdale team on the field this year. OHS will struggle this year to make it to the top of their region. Good Luck and see you at The Classic.

Ok OHS fans, help me out here. Doing a preview article for the Middle Tennessee Classic and I cant find much ammunition for the Owls this year. Fill me in on what and who is the reason why you think the Owls are better this year. I've looked everywhere and cant see it..

Ill be there. I look forward to giving coverage for the Warriors this year. With the excitement that surrounds this team and the returning talent, the Warriors could be a team that could surprise a lot of people this year.

Good post, but if we are taking about a true dark horse in 2-6A I would have to give a nod to Riverdale. Not based upon what they did last year but based upon what had happened since last year. Adding several key players and having a strong returning senior class along with the renewed excitement with the new head coach and new OC. This team is one that could really surprise some people in the regional or at least play a big spoiler role as the year progresses.
