Make state championship game best of 3 with a game at each teams home gym then the finale at glass house

It woulsnt surprise me if riverdale threw the region final game to probably stewarts creek just to avoid playing bradley in state. Rjey would then likely come to jim smitty arena where the bearettsa get huge fan support, having largest high school gymnasium in state helps, where ifs near impossible for visiting teams to win. Riverdale has thrown games before to avoid good teams in state and got lucky that the team lost

Bradley coach has yet to win district coach of the year even after taking his team to unbeaten record this year. Hes in his 7th season and has ywt to ein coaxh of rhe year in district. Hes taken 3 different teams to state and they currently own the longest home winning streak in state at 39. Winning percentage at almoat 90%. Most losses he received was 8 in his first season. Hasnt received more than 4 since. Riverdale woyldnt beat them by more than 5 if they beat them. Bradleys defense is way too good snd they have way too much talent

But it is very higlhy possible that both teams meet being unbeaten since you can lose as muxh as three times in playoffs and still win state

Everybody hated blackman last few years and they gor caught cheating. Riverdsle threw a game couple years ah Go just to avoid blackman in playoffs. At least bradley doesnt throw games and the bearrttes have a gteat 6th man in that carter girl. Shes only a sophomore and gets more.playong time than some of the starters. Am i the only that thinks district tourneys should be played by the team that wins regular season district or at least at a neutral site like play aaa district tourney at utc or something? That way your playing for more than seeding during the season. Region tourney instead of just 1st game should be hosted by team that won district tourney. Sweet 16 (sectionals) current format is fine with region tourney hosting but elite 8 and final 4 should be hosted by higher ranked team. Ex:bearettes should play at home in every game they play, unless its riverdale at whixh point play it at riverdale, until championship at which then it should be played in glass house. I think this would draw more money for the schools...

Bradley central should be 1st because theyve beat tougher teams then riverdale. All their wins except firn2 were by doubke figures. They manhandled oak ridge (revenge frm state semifinal loss last year) , daniel boone, cumberland twice, and morrostown west..all top 10 state ranked teams. Who has riverdale beat thats of worthy notice? Bradley is 22nd in country via usa todat...yes riverdale is 9th but theyre only ranked thst high because theyre defending state champions. Bradley has the best player in the state returning next season in rhyne howard. The sisters from riverdale will be gone. I expect riverdale to get upset in state tournement. Cumberland county is as good if not better than they were last year. I see oak ridge playing bradley in state finals after one of those beats riverdsle in quarters or semis. Guess well find out in few weeks. Bradleys defense alone is lethal weapon but when you have the offense its even tougher to beat them.

Coach floyd of bradley lost a great defense coach but he usually builds a great program. I expect them to make a title run. They surprised allot of people last year with their first year in super 32 and get great fan support

Allow a 30 second shot clock. Keeps the game competetive and keeps teamd from holding the ball for 2 minutes at a time just to keep the other team from scoring. Forces more action.
