This should be a good ball game. All these kids know each other and have for years. There are some friendships and some that really dislike each other. It scares me each time these two teams play because emotions run very high on both sides . I think os wins but it's a close one

I think the same thing but Oliver springs travels to Oakdale Friday. I guess we should be thankful we are getting 10 games this year. We missed a home game because of them as well. They don't travel well but the gate and concession money would always help a program

We are not the same team as last year lost to much on the oline. The guys are doing well and keep getting better but still not the experience we had last year. Our skill guys are however the same minus the huge loss of 3 and 10. I think the os and cf game will be a good one and should be for second in the region with Midway looming in our last game. I just hope we don't sit for the next two games because game experience is invaluable even against sunbright and Oakdale

I heard 3 were ejected from Oakdale and 4 from sunbright. Also some parents were put out for coming on the field. Not sure what this holds for these two teams but a fight is never good. Oliver springs plays sunbright Friday and Oakdale is on a bye week with os next week and a further depleated team due to ejections. I hope for os sake both teams can play cause missing 2 games before coalfield will be very bad for the bobcat. Tssaa usually hands out stiff punishment for fighting but the video I saw doesn't show the fight so I guess it will depend on the video that is sent to tssaa. Any further info would be appreciated

What happened there. I know 7 ejected but which team or how many from each. This will have an effect on the os and greenback season for sure. If these two can't play is will be off for two weeks before the coalfield game and greenback will be off for an extra week like last year for the play offs

It's game day and I think the bobcats need to roll in this one to regain some confidence. Everyone is back and healthy but not sure how long coach will leave the gas on. Being a county and region game hopefully bobcats big.

This week should be redemption game. 44 is back this week as well as a few others. Not saying we win at gb at all but I would think our defense would be better with 44 and 32 back on the field. The replacements did well but it was definitely a trial by fire against gb. This week should be a better week for the bobcat.

It's funny that the helmets that came off just happened to be the person in front of this particular lineman just a coincidence I guess

Watched a gb lineman through a punch and use facemasks to take off helmets. Acting all innocent is not flying. It was a dirty game on both sides refs let alot go.

Yes didn't play past 10 plays at Rockwood and not at all against northview. I will not go in to details because it's not my place but it is not an injury so prayers are greatly appreciated. Possible return after bye week which is next week

Oliver springs has made adjustment to the defense since the meigs scrimmage and those helped alot. Having said that with #44 being out due to medical reasons the d has been readjusted and while playing well is still depleated. I think the game will be a good one very physical. Greenback is favored but I have a good feeling the bobcats can surprise the district Friday.

It just so happens this post is NOT ABOUT GREENBACK. It is about northview. OS is a good team and next week the Greenback game will be a tough one. I'm not sure how it happens but every topic becomes about Greenback no matter the teams playing. Yes they are good yes they will be favored yes they should win the east. But for all of us local schools that live in the real world and play to the best of our ability how about we keep on topic oh wait SQUIRREL.

What and who are the keys to the win for each team? I think line play will be a hugh factor for Oliver Springs tonight. The defense is pretty tough but have to find a way to move the ball. On offense 44, 15, 4, 21, and 32 need to have good games. The os defense seems to be led by 21, 1, and 15 with good play by a soph stepping in for 18 due to injury.

Good. I hope they can stay healthy through the season. I like the Oakdale area and the school just seems hard for them to keep their numbers up . Best of luck to the eagles this year.
